@@jarnom85 Yeah, but the Ferdinand could delay him by enough time to let his team cap. Or at least buy enough time to where the MAUS would have very little time to aim at anything.

A Ferdinand can easily slow a MAUS down by 10 seconds if he lived for 2 more seconds.
With the position the Ferdinand was going for, the MAUS would have been slowed down by at least 15-20 seconds.
I know this because I myself have used that very same position in something lighter to hold a MAUS for 9 seconds.

Yeah the Maus might be great in mm like this, but usually it is tier X only matchups with basically everyone firing gold at you. Which makes this tank very frustrating to play cos then your armor isnt nearly as good and apart from the armour that tank has really no other noticable strengths apart from maybe its HP.
Yeah, the cheek is literally weaker than tiger maus about 240mm only while the in game description shows bout 260 which is kinda bummer for maus

@@derekdunne93 not really, because the side turret armor is just 120 mm so you can't angle your turret as strongly as you can with the Maus, which means your turret front stays quite flat.

The Maus has the big problem, that you have to show your weakpoints (cheeks) to your enemy, if you want to shoot. So the enemys just have to wait until you want to fire and then they can demage you. Because of this, the Maus is mainly against bad players strong, who fire at your turret when it is turned.
not really, because op the high hp you could easily 1v1 an S.conq, if as you say, he pens you everytime you pen him, the enemys (likely higher) dpm is basicly reduced to the maus's dpm
Keep the turret angled and snap shot after they fired. This is not a sniper, you want to brawl with it. If you just want to sit far away, like the guy did at the beginning, you are going to have a tough time
Farmed the entirety of one once in my T30 this way. Just kept slapping the turret cheeks every time he poked. Didn't even get spotted since I have the camo perk being trained on my crew. Messaged me after saying I was hacking lol
this is not how you play maus, ofc you will get farmed if you do this lol
That's why I use the improved rotation mechanism on mine. Allows you to turn the turret quick enough to get some sneaky bounces.

Fun but the amount of gold that is getting fired now makes this tank very annoying to play. You can't exactly react well when you're caught. I'd rather have a faster tank with better turret armor like the 277
that's ok, just be like this channel and be highly skilled. . .by shooting gold rounds like a scrub.
It's always fun to drive a low height medium right up to the side of a Maus where it doesn't have enough gun depression to hit you :D
That was a major throw by the enemy team there
with the amount of tanks they had they could have capped, strv could have set up to catch the maus's side and permatracked him and then farmed him, meds could have flanked and farmed but no they threw
Yeah the red team really made a lot of mistakes: mostly attack one at a time from the front of the Maus instead of swarming 🙄
but like every other game teams dont play like teams for the most part

05:02 That's where I had my own stand half a decade ago, in a Maus. It was during the time Chrysler GF situation was going on (Foch and all) and I ended up on Dez's video iirc. T62a got behind me, so I climbed ontop of him and won that way. 10/10

The issue is the lack of instant ammo switch. You can do that in Wotb, which is why people are very conservative with their gold ammo. Very rarely have I been shot at with gold in anything but a very heavily armored heavy.
Gold ammo are more balanced in WoTB, you do less damage while having a higher pen, and in WoT you have a perk called "intuition" that decrease greatly the time for switching shells (for example on my Char Futur 4 the magazine reload time is around 35s, but if I want to switch to HEAT mag it takes 10s thanks to intuition perk)

Due to the lt 432's low module dmg, it will take at least 2 shots to damage the tracks with apcr rounds, and more likely 3. And he rounds would be difficult to use as the maus armor is too thick to ne splashed for even 1 hp of dmg, and the screens would protect the tracks. Maus goated fr fr
Tracks always take damage if you hit them.
@@XtreeM_FaiL no, you need to lower a module to 50% hp or below to "damage" it. Otherwise the other tank will just get a bounce notification. A maus has 510 track hp with durability device, and the lt432 does 115 module dmg. It will take at least 2 shots to deal the necessary 255 dmg to turn the tracks yellow. Usually you dont see this interaction, but the lt does so low dmg, and the bond durability gives an extra 75% track durability to the maus' already high base track durability of 300, so one shot cannot "damage" the tracks.
@@person_perhaps You try to reset the capnot blow a tank up. All you need is 1 point of damage, either armor or module. You don't paint it yellow.

yeah,I see a lot of ppl's comments about how bad the Maus is,I disagree,in the right hands it can still get in there with the best of em,its got ALL the HP,and it needs it :)
The Maus is just EPIC, I had my best game ever in it. 7k dmg 7k blocked and 6 kills. Absolute classic, I also managed to bounce 11K in it once.
Not taking away the Maus (fabulous game) but it's also a great example of lack of team coordination in Random battles.
Either ALL cap or ALL attack. Don't divide your forces, least of all against a heavily armoured tank in a good defensive position.
The only time I was able to deal with Maus is when I kept him tracked and Arty Did the knife-work .
Just a random question: Would it have worked for the LT at the end to shoot the ground under the Maus to splash the bottom of the tank?
HE doesnt have splash anymore so it would do nothing

HE does still have splash but the effective dmg has been drastically reduced due to the HE mechanics being changed because apparently HE was too effective.......

The maus isn't the biggest tank in WoT, it's the heaviest tank, but the biggest tank is the O-Ni and it also has a special mechanic just for the O-Ni, bushes do not give any camo to it.

I found that when I mount the Survival Improvement Suite (which should add +100% internal module durability) and combine it with the Field Mod Lightweight Mounting Points (which adds -30% internal module durability), the effective value is only 40%. This suggests that the -30% modifier is being applied twice. Conversely, if I use the Auxiliary Safety System (which adds +30% internal module durability), the effective value is 160%, indicating that the +30% modifier is applied twice. I have encountered a similar issue with the Heavy Spall Liner.
I have already reported this problem twice in previous patches, but there has been no resolution. Could you please test this issue and report it to WG? This bug significantly impacts gameplay.
Now let's think how often Maus is playing against Teir8 setup.
And how good its armour is against Teir10 TD gold rounds.
Which makes The Great Allmighty Maus only a but above average on winrate among HT10 and on average level by popularity.

One of the rules against one remaining enemy vehicle: push in everyone, specially at tier 10 where anyone can be an actual threat! If the enemies have done that, Maus could not even react.
It doesn’t matter how much gold was fired at the start of this game, or if this was +2MM, this was a crazy good game
The Maus, by far, is the most fun tank to play in this game.
Imagine if the artillery had not suicided by Maus but instead waited for the Maus to leave cover, there is not way this would have been sent in, which would have been a shame as it would still have been great play, just not a win.

Maus is a great tank in a top tier match. Up against other 10s, it is a TOG with a better gun. I don't fear the Maus unless I am in an 8 or a few 9s without good pen.
In a top tier match? So it doesn't do well when it is agains tier 11 or 12?
Maybe on Tier9 it could be. On Tier10 the Maus is a health pinata. Each time you shoot it you get something sweet.
i dont know how much times in this video i was thrilled, you telling me finally why im playing wot, but at least i know now why why you play wot is playing wot, leading me to the question why im playing wot if i cant play wot like why you play wot.
Really want WG to adjust the credit calculating on Tier 10’s. NO reason when you Win, top player of team, only tap 2 key 2-3 times that you should be losing credits. (Not this game particularly). If you’re in the top 10 on the winning team and did not shoot a lot of gold you should at least break even.

Most iconic tank is probably the Tiger 1 or the Sherman from a Western perspective. Maybe T34 from a more Eastern view.

I'm not saying the player isn't good, they clearly are but as usual the enemy team just handed them the game. Go cap, if the mouse doesn't want to come out then you win, if it does you could surround and kill it.
Look at the remaining tanks, tier eights, an SPG and a sniper tier X, was never going to end well. Why are you highlighting this replay?
Why the maus is epic in wot: because it's in a tier 8 mm. We all know maus is a joke in a full tier 10 match.
