This message has been life-changing for me. Before I found you guys, I would wake up every day trying to figure out how I could eat in a deficit without affecting my performance too much. Little did I know that I was living in a state of being under fed and tired all the time. You guys gave me the courage to start feeding my body and training, and now I can say that I feel stronger and mentally happier than I have been in a long time. It is so hard to live in a state of deprivation, it actually gets depressing mentally. I would love to win the maps muscle mommy program! I have been reading Sal's book The Resistance Revolution which has been so helpful in showing me what exercises to do. I only started listening to you guys two or three months ago so I haven't bought any Maps programs yet
Your message has changed my life, and my body. I wasn’t seeing results with the move more eat less message. I was overtraining, injured and undernourished. After listen to you for a year, I finally took a leap of faith and trusted your process. I started focusing on building muscle and strength, and increased my calories and protein. Anabolic, and proper training and eating changed my life, and my body. I’m working out less than I ever did, and at 40 I have the body I wanted at 20. And I can maintain my figure effortlessly now.
THANK YOU GUYS! You saved me in so many ways. This was me, 47, eating nothing, 7days in the gym, and no muscle, tired and getting to despair. Been listening to you guys just over a month and I’m beginning to transform.
@Celena2224 Winner! Please email: ann@mindpumpmedia.com with a screenshot of your youtube username, winning episode number, and the email address you would like the program under and we will get you hooked up!
I'm 20 years old and newly married, just starting to get into weight lifting 3 times a week! I'm trying to unlearn all of the previous fitness advice i've grown up learning and to trust the process of strength training. This podcast is helping me grow and learn SO much, thanks guys.
For years I’ve been told that I’m going to look like a man if I lift heavy. I spent time as the only woman on the men’s” side because the weights on the “women’s”side were too light. I’m so excited that that no longer is true. Women are strong and powerful and our bodies can do amazing things. Cheers guys, thanks for contributing to the change!!!!
58 year old young mommie and grandmommie😊 I have been listening to you young men for about a year now. I come from the cardio era and trying to salvage what muscle I have left , going into my golden years. Please continue your podcasts encouraging women to be stronger through all phases of their lives 😊
Everything you said about hormones and midsection weight gain has been me!!! I let injuries hold me back from weights and fear kept me stuck. Now I am 57 and just joined a gym again and I am lifting with my 16 year old son. My god does it feel good to keep up with him and see both of us lose weight and gain muscle. Thanks a million guys❤️
60 yo female listener. Just purchased Muscle mommy. Been listening for probably a year really started focusing on lifting heavier and adding/prioritizing protein (loved your show with Dr. Lyons) did InBody @ gym … 16.9% BF … down from 19.1. Arms have shown most noticeable change. Feel stronger and healthier. 💪🏻🙏🏻
Mom of three kids here! Going through nursing school and still staying consistent at the gym 😊! It’s my birthday today! Would love to try the program to help me achieve my goal of getting in the best shape of my life by my 35th birthday next year!
I stumbled into weight lifting years ago when I moved to a new city with my 2 small girls and a husband that traveled more than he was home. I was lonely, depressed and just wanted a shower and some time to myself. I joined a gym bc it had free child care and I could use their shower without disruptions. I decided to take a barbell class bc it looked easier than cardio. Fast forward 15 years later, my fitness journey is at an all new level as I am in great shape (both physically and mentally) and will continue to do anything I can to build muscle going into the "changing" years ahead of me.
I’m currently slowly reverse dieting after years of hormonal issues that caused me to stop working out because I didn’t know why after a run I would feel so angry! I’m so thankful for you guys putting this information out there and teaching us how to build muscle rather than focusing on being frail overly skinny (and malnourished in the process)!
The first time I gained an appreciation for the muscular female form was when I stumbled upon the Crossfit Games documentary around 6-7 years ago. Seeing the competitors do insane fitness challenges made me look into strength training. Took me a while to start and Mind Pump programs definitely help me with keeping consistent with it. I’ve been loving the gym for the last two years and I know this is now a lifelong passion for me.
I’ve been an inconsistent follower of your podcast for years, I think because I see an image of 3 dudes and think, Ah, another Bro show talking about fitness. I’m always surprised and dare I say humbled that every time I listen, you guys discuss things so thoughtfully and respectfully towards women. Thank you 😊
As a woman in my 40's, I have been working out pretty much my whole adult life. I started CrossFit at 36 and my body transformed in 3 months more than it did all the years I spent working out at a globo gym. I love CrossFit and I weigh-lifting now. I will never stop lifting.
I found you guys a few years ago and you were the only ones promoting weight loss for women in a healthy way and encouraging weight training, You helped me understand nutrition and learn to fuel my body for strength not just looks.
I’ve been lifting heavy since way back before it was “normal” for women to be in the free weight room! I started in the late 80’s and never stopped. I’ve had 5 kids and although I’d still like to be a bit leaner, at age 57 I’m quite happy with how I look! Love your message. Keep it up! 👏🏽👏🏽
Ya'll are truly my favorite podcast!! You've completely changed the way I train now and I truly thank God for finding you. Thanks for all you do for the community and especially the women. I can say as a 24 year old female you have changed my life and mindset going forward! :)
First-time commenter, long-time listener... I’m really hoping you pick my comment for the contest because I've been trying for years to get my wife to work out, but she won't even consider it. I believe that with a program like yours, she'll finally gain the confidence to start, especially since it's coming from a reputable source like you. Your expertise and approachable style could make all the difference for her. Thank you for all that you do, and for the inspiration you bring to so many of us!
Your wife will have to want to work out....not from your encouragement, on her own. I have the same problem with my husband and gave in to the thought that he has to want it for himself. I have this program and love it - maybe buy it for her as a gift and it's not so expensive if she does not use it...but I think she will love it
Thank you so much guys! Everything you say makes so much sense. I am a 47 year old aspiring to be a muscle grannie. Always been a gym goer but like you say, fed into the cardio hype for too long. Perimenopause hit me like a truck in early 40s, gained 20lbs and was struggling to lose even a pound until I started listening to you guys a couple months ago. I’ve now lost 6lbs implementing advice from your videos. I plan to carry on lifting 4 times a week and using walking to increase non exercise activity. Love you guys!! Thank you so much!!
I've always loved lifting heavy but after listening to the advice on this channel, I strated eating more and I was so shocked to see I was still getting lean. It truly is mindblowing to see that shift in your body. I'm so grateful I found this channel.
I love that you are having these converations!! I'm a muscle Gigi ( 50 yo, 2 grandsons), eating more food than I have in over a decade, building muscle, and feeling strong!!
You guys have changed my life ..... I have been working out for over 20 years , spinning, Zumba , running and body pump on and off and having to give up due to injuries with my shoulder (frozen) and more recently plantar fasciitis. The struggles I have been through with my weight has been something that's occupied my energy for years until now....I' was weighing myself relentlessly, frustrated trying all sorts of diets , 17 day diet, cabbage diet, diet pills, shakes , weight watchers, slimming world and again nothing worked. I stumbled upon mind pump and you lovely guys via a podcast you held with Charlene Johnson. Ever since I have been hooked , tuning in most mornings with my coffee :) I'm 44 and feel the best I felt in years and have only been adapting my workouts and nutrition with your advice for the last two months. I cannot thank you enough, I have the freedom with my mind and body I never thought possible :) I am weighing myself less, however a cardion conditioned eat less mind is hard to adapt to not weighing myself , this for me will take some time 😢 Thank you so so much ❤❤
I have been lifting weights for the last 3 years. 48 yrs old now, and just after listening I'm not hitting my protein, and I need to lower my cardio. You made it so much easier for working mom
Just completing week 1 of Muscle Mommy and loving it. Have been listening to you guys for 18 months and your amazing advice has been at the centre of my battle against Perimenopause, when 2 years ago everything that I used to do suddenly stopped working for me. I’m now strong, lean and have my nutrition dialled in. Feeling happier and so much more in control Thank you!
53 year old Muscle Mommy. First program I have ever purchased and it is the best money I have ever spent on myself. Thank you guys. I'm loving the entire program and feel amazing!
Do you have to go to the gym to be able to do this? If not, what type of equipment do you need if you can do this at home? Right now I only have dumbbells up to 15 lbs 😬 but want to do this so badly. I am 46 and having issues with perimenopause 😢
Love you guys!! Long time listener here, you guys have change my life! I have 4 kids and ever since I have listened to all your advice it has shifted my mindset in such a positive way! I now am living a healthier lifestyle, I listen to your pod cast and TH-cam videos. I am the middle of maps aesthetics and would love to try muscle mommy after to continue my fitness journey, keep doing great things! Thank you guys 🤍
You guys have become such an encouragement for me, as a 52 year old woman, who has been running and eating barely anything for many years. And I am so sick and tired of feeling weak in the gym, being small but not strong, and your show has given me the confidence to eat more, increase my calories (even when I am scared) and lean into weight training and progressive overload. I want to feel strong, and be able to eat what I need to fuel my sessions, in the gym and also in my daily life. Would love this MAPS muscle mommy program. Thanks guys.
I am just beginning my journey to a healthier life. I started listening to your show a few months ago and have made the decision to change my life style. After 8 kids and a full time job since 18 I realized I need to focus on my health so I can enjoy being more active with my kids and some day future grandkids. Thank you for all the motivation and great information.
Years spent doing hours and hours a week of yoga, Pilates and Barre classes. Eating maybe 1800k a day. Now I lift 3-4 days a week for an hour, walk casually, eat 2000-2500k a day. Looking better, feeling stronger and much happier thanks to listening to you guys. You’ve changed the way I workout and view my body. I appreciate everything you do 🙏🏼
I started weight training on my own back in the early 80's. I bought a book by Lisa Lyon for inspiration, some bar bells and a bench. I took a weight training class at the college. Even though I didn't know what I was doing, I noticed changes I'd never seen before, but not long after that, I moved and had to get rid of my equipment. If only I had known this was the key! I starved and struggled and torutured myself with poor or temporary results all my life. If only I had had the education and encouragement to continue on with weight training back then. Where have you guys been all my life!!! Thank you so much for what you are giving to us all ❤
I have a congenital heart condition and was introduced to weightlifting in rehab after my open heart surgery. I stuck to it and my health outcomes have been so much better than what it would have been had I only stuck to cardio. More importantly, my recovery from subsequent surgeries have been smooth and fast. Get into the weight room, take up the rack, you will live longer and healthier.
I've been listening to you guys everyday for almost a month now. So much Info. Has been a game changer for me. I just passed my exam as a nutrition coach and looking into CPT for later as well. Would love to try out the muscle mommy program for myself. I got the nutrition down and been exercising 1 year. Only got really serious 2 months ago. I'm seeing the gains and trusting the process. You guys Rock!!
I was doing strength training from 2018-2019 and it felt good. I fell off during the pandemic and now Im in my heaviest. I will be ending 2024 with going back to strength training! Thanks for this ep
Sal i heard you speak on other podcasts about muscle building, cam over here to listen more and found you just releasing a program specifically for women- and moms?! So awesome. I'm a first time mom to a 6 month old, and at 35 yrs old, i have been very driven to finally get my health and body in shape for real this time. Would love win the program, as i am doing weights and training on my own at home right now, but more guidance would be good. I can already see results from what I'm doing the last couple weeks, arms have some definition and i can easily pick my son up from anywhere. Keep spreading the word! I know so many people who dont know about the importance of muscle in longevity. Hopefully when they ask about my transformation in a couple months i can spread the word too!
I am a 66-year-old female, who began with Starting Strength barbell training and am continuing in that. Right now I am trying to balance, fast intermittently getting protein, increasing my weights enough.
All of your content has opened my eyes to the necessity of resistance training. I am on tirzepitide for T2D and lost 60 pounds eating protein forward and my Peloton tread. I noticed that I had lost muscle and started to research what I needed to do to turn this around. I came across Mindpump and have not only learned so much but am completely entertained by your show! The next stage of my movement goals is to exchange fat for muscle. I’m a newbie and am reaping the benefits of that. Keep doing what you do!
You guys started the revolution for women! Been listening to you guys every week!!! I have Anabolic and will likely try muscle mommy after. Mom of 2. Lost 25lbs so far!!!
Thank you to the mind pump team, this is the second year that I'm doing my second bulk, I never would have thought that I would intentionally try to gain weight 😅 but I'm learning a lot .
These are great messages! I'm 46 and just now starting to strength train. I had a friend make fun of me and say I was going to turn into the Incredible Hulk, so I actually sent him a link to your videos. I'm 4'11, if I'm carrying any extra weight, I'd definitely rather it be muscle. I appreciate everything yall do to make this an inclusive space for valuable information.
Just started with a personal trainer and I'm guiding him on how to train me with the great knowledge that I learn here! I told him to watch this channel!! LoL U guys know your stuff! Much appreciated!
Found you all about 10 mo ths ago, right at the start of my fitness journey. So glad that I did because you have really changed my views. I was fortunate to have you all in my ear from the start. Thanks for all you do! ❤
This podcast has changed my life! I found you in November after spraining my ankle for the 4th time. I began with MAPS Starter back in January and am now on Phase II of MAPS Anabolic. I feel better than I did in my 30s and will turn 57 in just a couple of months. I'm looking forward to being a Muscle Mommy and, hopefully, a Muscle Granny someday!
I love you guys. I listen to you almost daily. I’ve been working out now for about a year and you guys give so much good information. I’ve lost almost 90 pounds but I want to start adding more muscle now and you guys are so good to watch.
Strongest I’ve ever been at 45! I’ve played sports and had my first gym membership since 16. I changed my workout 3 years ago and it was a game changer. I Lift heavy, eat lots of protein, and sleep well. Bulk stage
Such a frustrating repetitive cycle that yielded little to no results with so much struggle!! So many women have struggled with this for years! It's refreshing to see the industry shift to promote health and strength for women. Thanks for being such a great source of RELIABLE science -based information. Women all over the world are IN NEED of resources such as mindpump! ❤
As an endurance athlete who was never skinny I wish I'd found you guys a decade ago! I'm preaching this message to anyone who asks and it's actually so liberating because the overwhelming message is to do neverending cardio. I used to always be training for an ultra marathon but as a postpartum mom, aka a Muscle Mommy I'm really enjoying lifting heavy things these days. 💪🏼
I am so happy to see you so many more women realizing the benefits of strength training. Over the past two years I've lost over a hundred pounds and completely changed my body. Strength training was one of the biggest contributors to that. I was definitely in the club for a long time I thought that if you weren't doing a million hours of cardio a day and eating practically nothing that you wouldn't be successful. Boy how wrong I was!
So excited you all dropped this "MAPS" Muscle Mommy, I have long been a marathon runner since running cross country in high school. And it wasn't until I had qualified for Boston, but ran a horrible time due to an unhealed injury that I took strength training seriously to prevent injury. Now I have done a few ultra marathons and am continuing training for Berlin marathon, would love to add on this program to my cross training days! Thanks guys for the solid content 👊
Great show, I love the fact that you guys are encouraging women of all ages to lift heavy. When I was in school it was cardio/agility training only for girls and girls were considered weird if they wanted to lift weights. Thank you!
I just bought this program the other day, my first Mind Pump program 😊 I love it so far, just starting, it's so exciting and invigorating and I can't wait to do more!!!!
#MapsMuscleMommy sounds like a great program and a guide for all of us ladies out there who want to do more in the gym but aren’t sure where to get started at. Thank you for creating this!
So here for this movement! Spent years chasing skinny and switching to chasing strong lead me to feeling and looking my best at 45. Appreciative you guys and sharing the truth.💪🏻🤝
i reached my goal by doing strength training and i regret the days when i used to think that only cardio and eating less are the only way to get your dream body
Muscle mommy right here! Worked out 5 days a week both pregnancies even the day i was scheduled for labor on both kiddos 💪🏽 educating women on being healthy and strength training before, during, & after giving birth is key to having their ideal physique.
After a 120 pound weight loss through keto and Peloton, I feel in love with group classes at Orange Theory. While I haven’t lost a single pound in the past two years, I’ve seen an improvement in my body composition. I’m looking to change things up in my weekly routine to get off the last twenty pounds I’ve been trying to lose while still keeping and gaining muscle.
This was a reminder to keep with what I'm doing even if the scale isn't moving. I have to get out of the mindset of instant gratification and trust the process. Thanks for this! ❤
I used to think that women should work out differently than men. It wasn't until I found mind pump on tube that I started to change the way that I left weights. Thank you for making an episode specifically educating women.
I've been following your podcast for a while now, and I think you guys have done a great job of keeping up with the latest fitness research. I'm sure you've changed your opinions on some things over the years. It would be great to see you guys revisit one of your early shows and see if the stuff you said still holds true.
I played handball for 15 years (until 21 yo), after that in 2017 i started going to gym and did classic fitness influencer workouts (glute kick backs, donky kicks, puls squats etc.) and was in the gym 5 days a week. Good thing about 2020 was that I discovered and loved Mind pump ever since (we have longer relationship than some of my romantic ones 😂) , I changed my routine to 3 days a week and focused on big lifts... never felt better, i don't have any hip pain anymore and as guys would say getting most bang for the buck! I still strugle sometimes wanting to be "smaller" in my upper body but i guess with hight of 177cm and 15 years of handball that's out for me 😅 Sending lots of love from Croatia to MP crew and all the fans! Keep thriving!
I bought this program on the day it dropped because I was so excited!!! One thing I was curious about: why does this program only have a couple of leg exercises per day? I typically practice a hip thrust, a hinge, and a squat (and/or) lunge each training session with my clients. Obviously, this varies depending on their goals but for the most part, my ladies want to grow their glutes and I’ve seen great results with this method. I’m curious if only a couple moves would be better for muscular hypertrophy in the glutes? Thanks for the awesome podcast guys, you help me be a better coach 💖
So grateful for Mind Pump. Changing my life for me and my kids. It's going slow but I'm in this for the long haul. I love being strong and I'm not giving up.
Muscle Mommy! So pumped to get my hands on this program. My wife just had our first baby 4 months ago and after watching Mind Pump for so long she’s ready to get strong and build back what was lost in pregnancy 🙌🏼
I have your Mother’s Day bundle, I bought it last year and it has been so helpful. I’ve worked out my whole life (from a cardio bunny to regular stretching training) but I never followed a plan until I bought your program and I love it! Would like to try your new Muscle Mommy program, I’m sure it amazing! 💪🏼 I love you fellas, keep you the great work! 💗
I'm so grateful i found your channel. I have followed your advice and have now lost almost 100 pounds and I'm working on becoming a muscle mommy ❤ I also became a Personal Trainer through NASM. Your knowledge and wisdom has helped me so much! Thank you guys!
I have lifted weights and gone to the gym on and off forever. Finally a few months ago I started taking it seriously. I would looooove to run this program!
Can't wait to try this! I've been in that cardio cycle at least 10 times in my life and so glad to hear there is an answer to this! So many times I felt at a loss because I couldn't eat any less or work out any more! But there was no change! UGH
I am so excited for this program 😝 As a mum of 2 little ones, Muscle Mommy gives me hope! It’s been motivating hearing you guys talk about this program in the lead up, and I hope this is the game changer for me one day! 😊 💪
Love this podcast and tell everyone to listen! Have been weight lifting weights and would love to finally see my hard work with getting sculpted and building muscle! This program sounds amazing!!!
Thank you mindpump for all the informative podcasts! I can’t tell you how much it’s helped me to be healthier, stronger and an even better role model for my three little girls. Keep it up!
If it weren’t for CrossFit I would have never continued with strength training as well as eating without guilt. I no longer do CrossFit but it gave me confidence to get into strength training and workout on my own at the gym.
I’ve been lifting for years and learned a long time ago the benefits of weight lifting to reshape my body. Now in my 50’s I have a new found understanding of the health benefits….increased muscle mass for strong bones and quality of life in the later years. Women are waking up and it’s a wonderful thing!
Thanks, guys!! I’ve been trying to get my wife into weight training. She worries about getting too big and leans to cardio and HIIT. Just shared this with her in hopes it will convince her. New program looks cool!!
I started re-feeding, prioritizing protein and weight training because of you guys. Periodt! I trusted you guys and the menopause weight gain is gone!
I'm here for it! 47 and struggling to lose 10lbs of perimenopause weight. I'm here to learn!! These guys make sense to me.
Muscle Grammy here!! I’ve been watching, following, telling people about you guys for years!!

Ever since I have been hooked , tuning in most mornings with my coffee :)
I'm 44 and feel the best I felt in years and have only been adapting my workouts and nutrition with your advice for the last two months. I cannot thank you enough, I have the freedom with my mind and body I never thought possible :)
I am weighing myself less, however a cardion conditioned eat less mind is hard to adapt to not weighing myself , this for me will take some time 😢
Thank you so so much ❤❤
I have been lifting weights for the last 3 years. 48 yrs old now, and just after listening I'm not hitting my protein, and I need to lower my cardio. You made it so much easier for working mom
Strength training makes me look and feel the best I've ever been, not to mention how much more mental clarity I have!
What is the split for the workout? How long does it take you on average per session?
3 full body workouts each week. Sessions are about 60min
Crossfit is the reason I fell in love with strength training. Only did a couple classes but loved how strong I felt ❤
Encouraging women to be strong and healthy!🙌🏼
I started Muscle Mommy yesterday! Can’t wait to see how my body changes over the course of the program! You guys are awesome 🤩 💪💪💪💪
I’ve been listening to you guys for 6 years and you’re still my favourite part of my week!! Keep doing what you guys do! 😊
Subscribed! Just had my second baby boy 5 months ago at the age of 33 and would LOVE to try out your muscle mommy program! Keep rockin'!!!
Loving this new content! As a mum of 5 who loves lifting weights it’s great seeing more content for us women!
You guys are definitely at the forefront of this Revolution!! @mindpumpshow Thank you
Thank you to the mind pump team, this is the second year that I'm doing my second bulk, I never would have thought that I would intentionally try to gain weight 😅 but I'm learning a lot .
Great to see you guys changing the culture and motivating us to get stronger.
So thankful for you guys and to be a part of these changing times for women's health!!❤
This program sounds absolutely perfect! Thank you guys for taking the time to design this 👏
Great show, I love the fact that you guys are encouraging women of all ages to lift heavy.
Thanks guys I listen to you every day on my walks and at the gym doing deadlifts, etc. you guys rock
Woohoo! MindPump showing up for us again! Love you guys!
Picked up my muscle mommy program this morning ❤ so excited to get into the program!
Such an incredible episode!
UGH
Love the show. Can’t wait to get this program… but how about a Muscle Nana. That’s my goal!!
I love when Sal gets on a scientific rant. It's great to hear the deep diving into how hormones respond to this revolution movement A++
I am so excited for this program 😝 As a mum of 2 little ones, Muscle Mommy gives me hope!
This program makes perfect sense
Thank you mindpump for all the informative podcasts! I can’t tell you how much it’s helped me to be healthier, stronger and an even better role model for my three little girls. Keep it up!
If it weren’t for CrossFit I would have never continued with strength training as well as eating without guilt. I no longer do CrossFit but it gave me confidence to get into strength training and workout on my own at the gym.
Strong is the new skinny is the phrase of 2024 apparently and I LOVE it. Would love to try the program
Favourite Fitness/Health Show to listen to. Thanks, guys, for all the info.
I’ve been lifting for years and learned a long time ago the benefits of weight lifting to reshape my body. Now in my 50’s I have a new found understanding of the health benefits….increased muscle mass for strong bones and quality of life in the later years.
Women are waking up and it’s a wonderful thing!
All women need to hear this. Help spread it to the people around you who are struggling with weight 👍
Thanks, guys!! I’ve been trying to get my wife into weight training. She worries about getting too big and leans to cardio and HIIT. Just shared this with her in hopes it will convince her. New program looks cool!!
