Thank you for addressing hormones. As a 40 something, peri menopausal female lifter, my demographic is normally left out of all lifting conversations. Thanks for addressing differences from men.
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the account password. I love any tricks you can give me
@Finley Corbin thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Had no idea that weight lifting increased metabolism and cardio lowered it! --Despite my history of working out. I weight lifted for 3 years, 4x a week, and my BFR was 19%... my metabolism was the highest possible rank on the chart. It was the fittest I've ever been. Lately I only do cardio and have gained quite a bit of weight, yet lost most of my muscle mass. I gotta get back in there and hit those bars!! 💪😝
I have been a cardio junkie for years, I am over 40, I coach rowing and F45!!! For my mental health I love cardio, my body not so much!!!🤦♀️ going to focus more on strength!!! Thanks soo much for your help.
Talking as a man, i am 32, 5'10" 200lb . I was used to be 165 till 27.. lately i was so unhealthy and i Felt so bad at 200lb so i just wanted to get back to 165.. started working out... mix of calysthenic and strenght training.. lost fat but still at 200 and i feel so great, still got some bodyfat but i eat like i want and my metabolism is doing the job. I feel gr8
YES. I know some extremally emaciated vegan yogis that are WAY under that essential body fat percentage. I would love to hear you guys talk about the long term effects. What is the optimal body type for longevity?
This tip is one that had me stunned when i heard you guys explain it. Definitely one thatll have to be repeated considering how we're marketed to around body shapes and genders (or the lack of) 😂 BOOM! 💪🏽
I would not get constipated while working out. I would work out often, when the gym opened, 2010. But it was only around that time. I would work out often. I wanted to get my balance back.
I am a 57 yr old women, have done every diet possible, been eating very little and gaining. What or where do I start to bulk up? 2 yrs ago I did keto and was doing P90X felt great lost a lot of weight, which all has come back. Every time I try any exercise I get hurt.
I have been listening to you guys for a few months like crazy and this episode has made me giggle so much. “Look like a man”…. Gaining five pounds could be “scary” and when Josh laughs at the pink equipment…. I have 5 of your programs now. I want in the FB forum!!!’
Great topic, wld have been nice to have a female join the discussion. I'm a work in progress and would be ecstatic to be around 30% bf haha...low 20's wld be mind blowing.
I've been on Anabolic for a little more than 3 weeks and my body fat is between 19% and 25% (depending on what method you use). I can see muscles, I weigh the same but I look thinner, and I'm looking forward to getting below 20%!
Yes. Marcos (The one I had the car accident with), likes swimming. That is why he surfed. That explains his wide shoulders, then. I have not seen him in a very very long time. He is a modern latino, as well. In regards to body type, I'm not sure if his swimming is what made him have wide shoulders, then.
I think he has also changed videos on TH-cam, though. Because, I would see his shoulders, very visible. In the past. Anyways. So yes. He has a family of his own. Don't know what is going on. But me talking about him could be delicate. My respects goes out to him and his family. :)
Great video guys, really appreciate your perspective and approaches. This is exactly what I'm going through with my wife currently. After giving birth to baby three I took her through the dieting phase because she wanted to lose 20 pounds. She successfully get that but is now really struggling with intense hunger and bloating. Her nutrition is super on point, But she is definitely afraid of eating more and gain weight. Currently I have her on a three day full body split and then she does two days of cardio in between. The split takes her about 30 to 35 minutes and is based on to sets Per exercise. We train from home so it is all with dumbbells but I have up to 80 pound dumbbells. She complains about not being able to lift the weights so sometimes her reps are getting upwards of 20 to 25 reps. I've always recommended she stick within the 10 to 12 range or maybe even 15. Would you guys agree? Do you think I should have her add in additional sets to add volume and drop the intensity a bit? What have you found is an affective target of weight gain for a woman to make sure they're gaining mostly muscle and not body fat?

You guys are on the money. I’m doing arm weightlifting for the first time ever in my 49 years and I absolutely HATE it! But I can do squats ALL day!!
I remember, as a kid in the ‘80s, going to the gym with my parents. Both were bodybuilding. I loved bicep curls and rowing back then.
Thank God for you guys!
I agree

2nd day using weighted abs and the ball w/ extended arms. I feel my Abs. 🔥🔥can’t wait to see them in a month 🔥🔥🔥💪💪🔥

You guys are brilliant.
It smartest to stay in a deficit for three weeks and eat at maintenance during days like 27 though 5. You deal with plateaus and eat for your cycle.
listen while I work 💪💪🙏🙏
