We have been messing with this for a week (the self signed root certificate) and wonder why, if this is a common issue, it is not described in the "this is how you do it" guides?
How did you figure this out? Do you have have any references?
Will try to just do a dumb follow of your guide tomorrow, and hope that it is the missing piece, but not terribly happy about solving an issue without understanding what caused it.

Yes man. Same app also runs on Windows 10 and Android. It greatly reduces cost for development!
