Oh, I live in Illinois… we had our roofs re-shingled today. Our condo was one of 50 that they completed today. They are amazing! And yes, some of them are undocumented. They work harder than any of us would or could. We NEED migrant workers here and we give them human rights instead of trying to ruin their lives. FULL STOP.

Recently read about a Florida woman who was forced to deliver a child with Potts syndrome who lived for 90 minutes. Death was guaranteed as the child had no kidneys. During that 90 minutes he struggled to breathe because his lungs had not expanded because, not having any kidneys he was unable to produce the amniotic fluid that should have flowed through and expanded his lungs. In the end the child died of suffocation - probably the worst way to die. May this death be visited upon the Florida lawmakers who caused it.
I live in the area, what the family had to go through was torture. I can only imagine having to carry a baby in your body to term knowing it can't survive. I think if she didn't have to carry the baby, they could have started grieving and the situation for them wouldn't have been so traumatic.

As a conservative farmer I actually remember when Florida got rid of their migrants during Obama era and they wound up having to till all their crops under because there was no one there to pick them. @ruthcole909 The reason why I post comments is because I want the American people to enjoy life in the same way Australians enjoy life. We have a decent public health system and social security system that allows Australians to not worry about getting sick or injured and if an Australian loses their job the government will pay for training that improves their job prospects. Personally, I am on a disability pension that pays me over $500 per week and I get 50% of my rent paid as well as 20% of my utility bills. I also get free public transport and a discount on everything I purchase in Australia. My life is pretty much care free and I want everyone to have access to the same benefits that I receive. I owe my existence to the brave soldier's who fought and died and the majority of them were American, so to thank them, I must help the USA become a better place for all its citizens. We did fight hard for our way of life and have to continue to fight against those who want to take everything away. Americans must do the same and not let politicians get away with lowering the standard of living.

Recently read about a Florida woman who was forced to deliver a child with Potts syndrome who lived for 90 minutes. Death was guaranteed as the child had no kidneys. During that 90 minutes he struggled to breathe because his lungs had not expanded because, not having any kidneys he was unable to produce the amniotic fluid that should have flowed through and expanded his lungs. In the end the child died of suffocation - probably the worst way to die. May this death be visited upon the Florida lawmakers who caused it.

I live in the area, what the family had to go through was torture. I can only imagine having to carry a baby in your body to term knowing it can't survive. I think if she didn't have to carry the baby, they could have started grieving and the situation for them wouldn't have been so traumatic.

I don’t know if people remember, but CA had a terrible proposition which was Prop 187 when there where more Republicans here. It was awful. It pretty much made CA a blue state and hasn’t turned back. Hopefully DeSantis does that to Florida. It would be great to flip that state.

With everything that is happening in the USA, it makes me glad to be Australian. I feel sorry for the American people, especially American women. If things get worse, Australia will welcome American immigrants

@ruthcole909 The reason why I post comments is because I want the American people to enjoy life in the same way Australians enjoy life. We have a decent public health system and social security system that allows Australians to not worry about getting sick or injured and if an Australian loses their job the government will pay for training that improves their job prospects. Personally, I am on a disability pension that pays me over $500 per week and I get 50% of my rent paid as well as 20% of my utility bills. I also get free public transport and a discount on everything I purchase in Australia. My life is pretty much care free and I want everyone to have access to the same benefits that I receive. I owe my existence to the brave soldier's who fought and died and the majority of them were American, so to thank them, I must help the USA become a better place for all its citizens. We did fight hard for our way of life and have to continue to fight against those who want to take everything away. Americans must do the same and not let politicians get away with lowering the standard of living.
