Used to play with him for Sussex, was never the best or near the best at the time but unbelievable how much he’s improved as a player.

Watched their highlights of this match a couple of days ago, what an awesome team they are. Sometimes you just have to put your hands up and admit you were outplayed by a better side.
Now that's a proper cricket ground, beautiful setting. Ball coming onto the bat nicely in the first 10 overs, but some good spinners in your side for when pace not having success.
Pause at 20:29 when he’s got the ball in his hands. That looks like 4 to me 😂

@@Matt-wi9qpI very much doubt that in the split second that the fielder stopped the ball, he could feel his feet over the rope. If the camera wasn’t right there, no one would be the wiser, including the fielder.
I played a bunch against Jonty at youth level for Guernsey vs Jersey. Let’s just say I know what it’s like to be on his receiving end 😅
I thought Jonty Jenner plays for Jersey or something and Archie Lenham for Surrey since he was 16 😂

The grounds look so beautiful to play cricket there. I'm from Toronto, Canada, We dont have nice looking grounds. Our city sadly doesnt support cricket so much. I wish I could move to uk to play some cricket one day.

Jonty Jenner was tearing it up in the European Cricket League for Old Victorians. Got them to the final. I know most of that league is hilarious, but the ECL finals are pretty serious. He murders a cricket ball

TBCC were certainly 2nd best team on the day.
One of those days when regardless of who bowled, their batsman were on top. The total from Nomads would have been almost unreachable on a very good day. Chance of revenge in the cup, but make sure they dont bat first 😂

I'm not a cricket expert but I think Connor needs to come on as first change bowler and George needs to open with Brown...
Connor clearly swings the ball, as does Aaron back into the right handers, whereas George looks like a seamer who hits the deck. The new ball will help the other two more than George.
Honestly the catching was atrocious (from both teams!) so the weather must have had a bit of a play on the fielders.
