My favourite is the GMC NYPD towtruck @16.35. I am partial to a tow truck; got a couple in my collection. I've never seen a police towtruck in NSW, I think they just call in a private towie, when they need one. I liken towtrucks to vultures; they sit around waiting for some carnage, and when it happens, they fight over the carcass... Thanks T ! 👨🚒🇦🇺
I had my car pinched from outside the house many years ago and was woken by a phone call from the cops, telling me where to meet them. My battered EA Falcon was looking very sorry for itself in a park after some thieving joy riders ran the petrol tank empty. The cops said they could call a towie for me and knew of one close by. After an hour, I went home and called one myself which turned up as I returned to the car. Two hours later, the towie that the cops called rang, demanding payment for the lost job. I told him a version of ‘no.’ 😂😂😂
@@ultimatediecast1080 Yeah, "towies" weren't exactly known for their caring nature and honesty. Always amazed me how they would arrive at the scene of a prang, before the cops or ambos ! 🤔
23:12 I'm not sure what animal it was from 🤣 Japan police, NYPD, Polizei and Dubai police are definitely popular liveries amongst premium diecast manufacturers. Thx T & A
Moin from the North Sea. Sunday, breakfast is over and I'm bored.... Just kidding🤣 When I can watch mind-blowing die-casts, I'm never bored 😎 (3:09) Nissan GT-R (R35) I've known about this model for a while (without having it in my collection myself) but it always fascinates me. (Maybe it's because I like copcars... Who knows?🙄😁) (10:53/10:59) '70 Camaro White with black "go faster" stripes and black vinyl roof. Plus a fantastically detailed engine.... What more could you want? (Should mean JOU 😎👍🏼) (12:33) '67 Mercury Cougar XR 7 Along with UTEs/PICK-UPs, off-roaders and copcars, one of my great passions.... Classic "muscle cars". (I've never driven one of these myself, but I think they're just timelessly cool 😎) I can say the same about the 70s Cougar Eliminator. (14:35) (To quote Mr. Moe Bandy and his legendary song here: Take me back to yesterday once more...😁) (17:31) '87 GMC Sierra K 2500 wrecker For me, the absolute star of the show. An incredible amount of detail and excellent workmanship. (Did I mention that I particularly like the push bar 🙄😜) Whatever GMC means (Some say General Motors Corporation, others claim it's General Motors Canada. I suspect the first is correct. Although... Holden's official name is GMH after all...). I like these trucks. (20:55) '79 Ford LTD Sedan Although already built for the 80s, the zeitgeist of the 70s is still very much in evidence here. Simply JOU 😎👍🏼 (24:09) V-dub Golf (Rabbit in the US of A) I can still remember the Golf as a police car. OK, here they were not silver but painted white and had green doors, bonnet and boot lid. There was also only a single blue signal light on the roof. (Unfortunately not such a cool light bar). When I look at the radiator grille, I almost want to say that the model is a Golf GTi. Wasn't uncommon here with the police. The car was compact, but had a much higher engine power. "Bad guys" drive fast cars and the cops have to be able to keep up with them...😎 (Explanation by my brother, an ex-commissioner😁) Well, time flies when you're having fun.... We have reached the end of my reflections. It only remains for me to say: Thank you so much for sharing T, clearly a thumbs up from me 👍🏼 Stay safe and sound and keep up the good work, mate 😁👍🏼 (Looking forward to part II) Have a good start to the new week 😎 Greetings from the DCcoB on the North Sea shore 😜 😎👍🏼🇦🇺✌🏼🇩🇪👍🏼🤠

A casting that already has a push bar only means one thing…it need an antenna! 😂👊

Jerome... ALL diecast cars deserve to breathe fresh air! :)
Thanks for the Era Car vs Tomica comparison, Tomica is great but that Era Car smashes it in detailing and bonus figure.
👍 Thx 🇧🇪.
