How is RG28xx for games that require a joypad but there is only a physical dpad? Does joypad automatically map to the dpad?

I'm having trouble with the Dreamcast emulator getting Sonic adventure to play for example since I think it requires analog stick. Putting these two together would be a dream device

@@deadfred69 when playing games that have either d-pad or analog stick (Dreamcast) with the RG28, just tap the power button and it will switch between analog/joystick controls. Just fyi
