@@RealRushinRussian they (id) were skimpy with the health at lower difficulties. Somehow I found a way to save ammo in M1 and still get all kills. Basically you need to keep all the spectres in red key room alive and trigger the barons, then lure all of them to outside the room with the fence and get the barons to infight with the spectres. That helps saving quite a bit of ammo. And if you save rockets while dealing with the first baron of the level (by using the shotgun), you will have enough to take down all 4 barons at once.
It's a very fun map, can be done with no damage on UV (no tricks). Although for some reason decino decided not to raise a floor at the center of the map (unofficial secret, one of the walls behind three barons in plasma rifle room opens up and there's a switch, makes platforming easier). Speaking of unofficial secrets, a wall can be opened in the first map in the chaingun room that will open up a path to the blue door, but enemies will be able to get you in the chaingun room this way.

It is easy enough, once you know what's coming, and the trick of saving your shotgun/chaingun ammo by destroying the pinkies ambush at the red key room - by using your fist. There is a safe spot behind the big block where they cannot get, so they all can be killed safely. This tactic is not shown in this video, but if you do it - then you will be able to shoot down every enemy without problems, and still have a dozen of shotgun shells left in the end.
Oh, so it's not only me? I started on ultraviolins and got totally destroyed several times before I decided to lower the difficulty. I figured I was just out of practice.

Can we talk about E4M6 for a moment? It's so good! The inside of the fortress keeps the atmosphere up, you're always trying to reach the other side where the Cyberdemon is. And that final fight with the CD, epic! IMO this should have been the last map of TFC, such a memorable map!
E4M6 definitely should have been the final map over Unto The Cruel; besides being more climatic, the challenge is so much more fitting. I recently went through each map on UV+ on pistol start with no saves, and E4M6 took me hours to beat, while I then went and beat E4M7 and E4M8 on my first try, It just feels insulting to play those maps after E4M6.
