Suzuki back in the 70s made the best two strokes the GT250-380-550-750 all looked great and sounded great and were great, I had a silver one which might be quite rare now as I have never seen a silver one on youtube wish I had it now, thanks for the Vid.

I had one of these back in the day with a Windjammer fairing (when touring) and saddle bags. Rode it all over the US and Canada, even into Mexico. That engine has a unique sound. Mine had a blueprinted top end and was super smooth. It was a blast to ride.

I miss mine so bad! 1974 or 75, I forget. Same color! Absolutely a sweetheart and part of why I love ALL things 2 stroke! Easily one of the best bikes ever made. It NEVER let me down or had any reliability issues, and was a gorgeous looking bike! Sounds like my 2 stroke SAAB too! 👍🏻🤘😋 The 2 stroke has to be the best sounding gasoline engine ever built! Pure bliss!! And these bikes were as happy putting leisurely along on low speed limit roads as they were balls-out on the track or interstate! I miss mine, which was my first ever road bike I got in 1988, by the water, and miss it so much I want to cry 🥺😢😭 literally. 😔 What a great machine and what memories! I wanna go back and do it all over, but I can’t go back, I know-R.I.P. the GREAT Eddie Money! 🥺😢😭 but he sung the TRUTH! Cheers all! 🤘👍🏻🤘

Still having fond memories of this bike. I owned one from 1973 until 1976. Modded with racing handlebars and an non-silenced 3 in 1 expansion exhaust. My neighbors must have hated me when I went off to work each day at 7 in the morning lol!

    Change plugs; Sync the carbs.
Change the air filter (and the gearbox oil... and flush the 2-stroke reservoir).
Must have been a really dry barn - this thing is beautiful!

Had 1975-in 1978-very good bottom end torque--more than the 1978 Honda 750F I replaced it with--good power even 2 up

I see you have dual discs up front. Is that a set up from a GT750? Is it a good upgrade?

propellskalle Hey, yes they are off the GT750. Makes a noticeable difference and worth the upgrade. 👍

Stop calling it very original! The bars are wrong, the mirrors are wrong, the expansion chambers didn’t come on it or the dual discs, in short its molested. Its worth much more completely original. It will never be worth the money of the Kawasaki H1 that they were trying to copy as they aren’t very fast. They’re still neat though.
