Your description is already a well explanatory verse to our course of action, however to add on the same line. Here traction width and rim diameter are kept same as per car's design value, which leads no effect to related maneuverability. But we face changes in rolling forces which are on the negligible side, odometer reading that can be set in vehicle controller as per number of wheel rollings than 185/55R16, now sidewall of tire in fact gets higher by around 10mm and that concludes whole story of changing tires to 185/60R16 by leading higher cushion effect during car ride and less prone to causing damages of tires at highway and uneven ridges.
