- Ariana shares her approach to tackling each day’s problems with a solution-minded point of view, what she calls a “Figure-it-out-able” outlook. The talk is rooted in the actions we take and something that is familiar to all: challenges. Challenges come in all shapes and sizes and can be our collective common denominator. Our choice, then, is in how we approach each challenge with a solution minded framework. Ariana is a native of Washington, D.C., but has proudly called Memphis her home for the past 6 years. She currently works at the University of Memphis as a part of the University Schools team that helps to oversee the youngest Tigers. When not cheering on the Tigers, Ariana loves supporting the Memphis Grizzlies and FC901, playing ultimate frisbee through the Memphis Ultimate Disc Association, traveling with her partner, and baking all the breads. Ariana is fueled by the thought that there is a solution to everything… and coffee. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
Great talk!
For any non-native speakers of English: Do not be discouraged by the speaker's unclear pronunciation of the word "solution". She has pronounced the "l" so weakly that the "o" before and "u" after morph into one another. So whenever you hear "so-ution" or "sution", she means "solution".
Finding and solving problems :
There is 5 main steps & ways :-
1- being solution minded
And not problem minded meaning when aproblem come over no matter what it is
Big or small rether to start meowing and complaining about it and playing the victim mindset by saying " why me "
Cause that is not gonna solve anything
You need to build the habit of solutions
Looking searching for solutions that most be a tool or something to do to fix any problem you face you need this mindset everytime you face problem
2- have linear structure of the problem to walk straight on it
3- questions is important to ask such
Why this happened how to solve it what is the causes to define the problem and find solutions
4- ask for help from anyone have the same problems or search Google
5- patience is important in everything in your life
Short sharp and shiny this is exactly what I heed to hear tonight. THANK YOU !
When there isn't a way, we will make a way! I guarantee it!
I am pretty bad at this as well.
Ask for help, learn to ask for help!
Love it 😍👍
Thank you

Christian?
@@alias_peanut Hello! Well, I am a Liertarian Vegan Anarchist that advocates for Liberation. Then, most yes. But also a truth seeker and a 110 (Commited to Ethics). I have a more updated version. I will copy here. This is a numeric matrix for communication purposes. With this is possile to calculate and convey meaning by using mathematical and logical operators. Ex.:
10: Network;
11: Justice
By using + we have 10 + 11 = 21. So,
21: Justice Network
However, 21 also stands for 2 and 1, being
1: Ethics
2: Problem-Solution
So, 21 also stands for Solving problems with Ethics, being consonant with the other meaning.
And with this, we can reach liberation. The end of enslavenment, the end of war, to live in abundance, with a new energetic/financial system that does not waste and acumulates unnecessary as capitaism. And yes, I mean the end of capitalism. Cool or not?

Sweet my forsight
Life is a collection of mistakes, you will never learn if you don’t make them.
So, if more mistakes you made you get smarter? I do not think so. If it would be true the homeless will be the smartest people. But they don't. Life is not an art of mistakes but art of avoiding mistakes by your own thinking, knowledge and lesson learned of others mistakes.
@@pawewojcicki6998 You must make mistakes....and know how to learn from them. That's the other side of the coin.
@@pawewojcicki6998 but it can be a really valuable lesson to make new kinds of mistakes because those mistakes stick with you so you are less likely to repeat them again.

MY PROBLEM IS WHEN I WATCH TEDX I GO TO SLEEP. IS THEIR ANY SOLUTION FOR THIS.
Yes, don't try to solve it. Go to sleep. Then wake up refreshed and watch Ted talk.
When a problem is unsolvable , the best solution to that is not trying to solve it
Study more complex things.

The earring in her nose is very distracting to watch and discredits what she is saying which is a shame.
