Hey everybody! Welcome, or welcome back to my channel, Twanger's Turntable. Today I'm finally unboxing my 2023 Christmas gift (sort of...see the video where I'll elaborate) and it's a killer, RATT - The Atlantic Years 1984 - 1991 box set. Awesome video buddy. Thanks for the shout out. That's a killer box set. I'm like you with Ratt. I am a huge fan of the first 3 albums. Didn't hear those other 2 until late 90's really. I recall the first 2 albums getting crazy MTV play back in the day.
Yeah man! Of course. I honestly didn't see much videos back then, so I missed out. I was just usually more interested in seeing bands perform their music. Thankfully I had a good group of friends that were all listening to hard rock and metal I managed to hear them elsewhere. It is a very cool box set. I got my sights on Dio and WASP next! I’d hate those rips and dents in brand new vinyl - you were right to send it back. Those sets are expensive. Hilarious that that naked album cover shows as you show my channel! Love Aaron M A - I need to catch up on his channel (your end touched on this idea). A bumper sticker that will never realize its purpose - I started crying inside! That could become a children’s animation special. I actually saw Ratt with Billy Squier in the 80s. I remember that Ratt had a demo 4 track - I wonder what that wasn’t included. Thank you for the mention / shout-out.
Hey David! Of course my friend. I love these shout outs. It's my favorite part in all honesty. It's a small way to pay it forward how you have supported me. I know Ratt did a 6 track EP in 1983, and I do have that. This looks like an excellent boxset! Ratt was a solid band. Your editing was really good too. I have the first three on vinyl so I’ll just keep looking for the others. Rock on Mark!
Hey Gary! Yeah I would not purchase this boxset if I had more of them on vinyl, but glad the bestie (wife) went with this. It really sounds great. Yeah man, I was a little worried after the first one, but like I mentioned in the last, I shouldn't have. Amazon has been great in my experiences. I would've likely gone for the WASP or DIO first, but glad to have it. It actually is a really nice boxset and I'm liking the tunes from the later lp's I never really new before too. Thanks Pie! Ratt boxset is awesome.....i atill have invasion on cassette copied from my buddy's copy back in 85. Cool Priest shirt. I go back and forth with Screaming and British Steel! Have a cool weekend..... You owe the wife big-time

Hey Brian! I've found my valiant efforts to keep on top of watching everyones vids is an exercise in futility and can get a bit overwhelming honestly if I lose sight of just having fun. A big part of my lack of presence recently is in large part due to that. I have focused on scaling back my TH-cam time. Well, that and the grandsons are much more present since we moved here Lol! @@twangersturntable awhile back I quit YT for about a year as I was so frustrated with the amount of time it takes. I even deleted all my content. 😂 Definitely have to prioritize and YT really shouldn’t be at the top of anyone’s list imho anyway.

The only reason I want the set is the Nobody Rides for Free single and the little trinkets 😆 I have all the albums on LP I was even lucky enough to score 2010’s Infestation on vinyl for a low price.
