Thank you immensely. Maybe I'm oversharing, but my grandmother passed recently and there won't be a funeral or anything and I live quite far away (around 1,900 miles). So while I was trying to figure out a healthy kind of coping, remembering, process I thought of making a lovespoon in remembrance of her and my grandpa.
Sorry to hear about your loss. The lovespoon is certainly an appropriate way to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one. You can add a variety of different symbols to the design that tell the story of their life and who they are as a person. Thank you for getting in touch and supporting our TH-cam channel. Hi Jade, wood was the traditional material for lovespoons but today you will see them being made from all sorts of different materials. Including metal, ceramic, wax and even chocolate. Thanks again, all the best from us all here at The Lovespoon Workshop. 👍
