- i was messing around with slowing music down and did it with the main menu theme of my first ever game i played in my childhood and boy does it sound good!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Rom Di Prisco, for creating this masterpiece.
#racinggames #nfs #vgm #trance #nfs2se #needforspeedIIspecialedition
No other generation will ever understand the significance of hearing this music and seeing these visuals for the first time as a 5 year old kid. Man... we grew up in the best time. Love the concept of these vids. I still prefer the original, but being so familiar with them means this a welcome change of pace without changing the actual song
ı totally agree wıth you As 85 born, ı started to play nfs 2 se as fırst vıdeo game ın my desktop computer. F50 was my first love, amazıng showcases than nfs 3 , CLK GTR was the star for me also ferrarı maranello and jaguar XK. than nfs 4 hıgh stakes , showcases soundtrack callista wıth BMW M5 and fınally nfs 5 porsche unleasched 911 turbo 2000. all these great games such a short tıme has been launched 1997 to 2000. thıs amazıng serıes nfs 2 3 4 and porsche soundtracks stıll ın my car playlıst. when the days cars for us were just pure love , nothıng to show off
Captured my mind down to the exact letter.

I want your TikTok or telegram pls ❤❤
those zoomers make me laugh when they write that they so much nostalgia to game in the 2005 etc also commenting how good graphics it have , they know sh*** if they didn;t started from C64,Amiga, or any console back then after that going to PC games , they don't know where is real jump in quality
That bass at 0:20 hits hard. Slowing down makes this song feel like a day-dream. Gorgeous!
Hits harder than teacher's belt 10/10
Lmao
I'm not that old, dude. lol
Assuming the teacher is Ekstrak

WOW, it sounds incredible, never in my life would imagine slow this theme.
I'm not a fan of slowing or speeding up music but this is genuinely well done.
When you were little you didn't pay attention to this because you just wanted to play, but when you grow up you listen to it carefully and it is a masterpiece of sound. 10/10
Absolutely
You're absolutely wrong. We've sat in front of PC and listened to whole theme before starting playing 😊
@@wiewiorpl I did the same, I stared at the main menu mesmerized by this song - and a while later, Paradigm Shifter and Callista from NFS:HS. What a soundtrack.
People will say blackbox as the best NFS Era , i dont deny that those games were great , but NFS in the 90s ....was something else , so special ,games that were made for the enthusiast , with their showcase , NFS 4 was peak nfs for me , and NFS 5 was just an amazing goodbye for the old generation , thank you Old EA , for making me and many childhoods around the world, covered an era where the motor world industry was thriving ! legends were born in the 90s
duplicated but never replicated , an era the defined generation
" NFS 5 was just an amazing goodbye for the old generation" couldn't say that better. Played Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed countless hours on PSX.
Man you turned this into a dark and gritty synthwave by just slowing it down. I can see it fitting right into the first watchdogs game or Night time on Need for Speed heat. Hell it feels just right in cyberpunk.
Surprised it wasn't clickbait, it's actually a really nice, fresh take on the classic track!
2 of the fastest production cars ever, one of them undoubtly the greatest production car ever, the other maybe had the most powerfull V6 for a production car, 0-62 is just in 3.7 seconds, 341 km/h (213 mph) despite having all comfort stuff. Desinged 31 years ago but still fast and beautifull even today`s standarts. Between these 2 speed demons, a car with arguably the best V12 sound ever, unleashing it`s true potential with it`s GT model but never raced.. Yeah. So much engineering greatness and nostalgia in one photo. And the music is just awsome. Just as you said, ``Slowed Down To Perfection``
Oh hey. This is pretty catchy! An interesting take on an all-time-classic. Early NFS had brilliant music.
I agree!
rom di prisco is the name, saki kaskas, and another guys that had the ear and vision that dont exist anymore
Brilliant? Masterpieces because they were made for these games. Not took from excisting artist
Saki cut the music for NHL 98 and other games it's possible he has hidden or otherwise passed over gems; I'm gonna start looking over his discography again; RIP
Usually slowdowns doesn't work for me, but this one is amazing...
I think its cause the song has so much going on so quickly in the original version, it almost makes sense to be slow.
All of these Rom tracks benefit from slow down they are paced so quickly after many years it's refreshing
This brings a weird sense of nostalgia to me.. not only the song but the cars.. im just imagining 1990s retro dudes gathering in a parking garage at a casino, top floor. Someone discovered subwoofers and had them installed to his Jaguar, his doors are up and this song is playing, dudes are smoking cigarettes, girls in mini skirts are sitting on the cement walls, talking and eyeballing, tryna to pick a man to try to go home with tonight, but the guys, they have one thing on their mind.. who's fastest.
I am very glad that we grew up at a time when progress was visible with each subsequent series of the game. There is no such thing now. Everything is the same. The games hit the ceiling.
To be Honestly, I would really like EA to make a Need for Speed based on nfs games from the 90s ,like a "Need For Speed Origins" and focused only on supercars, both iconic cars and modern cars.
We already have nfs hp remastered but i know what you mean
This works much better than I expected it to.
Almost like a music score for a documentary. Well done!
My new chill out music.
This is perfectly slowed enough and I enjoy this more than the original version good work man ❤
Thanks!
both are unique
*_NEED FOR SPEED II (1997)_*
This is just perfect, another awesome perspective to this eternal soundtrack from the past ❤️
i never realized how similar the F50 and XJ220 look by front until i see this video
I don't know why but I can totally see this music being used in a OG Top Gear intro video for the McLaren F1 GTR (Shot in a similar retrospective style to Hammond's tribute to Diablos). This really evokes a sense of nostalgia for me. Anyone else that's had the pleasure of growing up in the 90's with CRT monitors and LAN / split screen parties grew up in the best of times in my opinion. Hearing Romulus or Paradigm Shifter for the first time would have just been blown away (like I was). Thank you for this awesome remix :)
Moves me to tears. The picture on the video and this song. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️
Oh my God. Perfect.
most of the slowed to perfection are not perfect but this...*chef's kiss*
Lol, thanks.

This is incredible
This is soooo goooood and super chill!!!
This is really epic, I did not expected this :D I recently realized that I did not really like the game as much as I did the music, this song is just other worldly.
Absolute cinema 🚬
absofuckinglutely is✋😐🤚
That picture goes hard.
Rom Di Prisco is the goatttt... The Goatttt!
Sounds different, BUT I still can imagine this theme for Need For Speed Remastered Editions! Good Idea making it like that! Respect!-o GJ!
Thanks man!
I didn't know about this or the original one 5 minutes ago. Now I listened into both and love them :) Thanks for the experience!
You're welcome!
Damn!! I really enjoyed it !

Well, glad to see an OG. I'm not as old as you are but I appreciate classic games more than newer ones. And cheers to your birthday🍻!
it's funny because when the game released these tracks were modern! times flies so fast man...
@@lucasgraeff5391i'd say they were futuristic back then... oh yeah... it flies. At warp speed
Sweet baby jeebus, I got into an NFS soundtrack kick, and I ran into this mix - what an absolute banger! 🔥🔥🔥
Me and my inner 14-year-old are absolutely loving this mix!
Glad you enjoy it! Check out my stuff for more of these slowed down versions of nfs songs!
This slaps hard !
Hits right in the nostalgia
Oh my god you found magic within the magic
The sense of speed in this game was insane. So realistic
Love it! Always love classic trance styled songs! The original wad great, and this version gives a more ominous feel! Love that late 90s early 2000s vibe with the music in so many games at the time! Very cyber themed If that makes sense. Good stuff! 😁👍🏻
The slow down gives the very clean sounding resonant 303 linger in our minds just a little bit more, hence giving it a bit more punch.
@@apreviousseagle836 ah, yes! It does seem like that! That makes sense! Good way to describe that feel! 😁👌🏻
No soy fan de los juegos de carreras, pero estos temas me hacen sentir en los 90's
This is awesome! Sounds very cool like this. Thanks for the upload. I remember loading the game every single day as a kid in 1997 and hearing this track. Fast forward 20+ years and I own my dream car from that era and listen to this while driving and editing vids. Awesome nostalgia trip!
❤❤❤❤
I'll be sure to recommend this awesome track to the D.J. next time I go to an epic party. Thanks for sharing!
No problem! Hope you have fun!
bro turned a trance into a downtempo progressive
this goes hard as hell
Awesome 👌 👏
I didn't expect this to work but this is another vibe all together. Now I got 2 favorites from this game 😅
it is unlikely that we will hear such music ever again...
Thats another level this stuff!
This one is really good. Cheers 🍺
Cheers!
this sounds so good and menacing at the same time
Hello from France, Wonderfull I'm Remember when when I bought this game on May 16, 1998 for my birthday I was crazy at the time of real urban racing games, now impossible to find this imagination and this quality

I'd....rather not this reach tiktok
Don't want the kids to ruin a good game or soundtrack.
@@2ADVANCEDYT Thank you for deciding to preserve this .
I will turn this music when buing Porsche in a saloon
Turned into a 1990-1991 trance song.
It was already considered PSY Trance, I just made it slower xd
@@2ADVANCEDYT Yeah, but the default song gives the vibe of mid-90s and later-90s, slowed gives a early-90s vibe.
@@Victor_2000s Yeah, true also based 996 appreciator 🤝
Ironic how everything to make this song already existed in 1983 (TB-303, TR-909, Fairlight Strings, and a couple of good delay FX boxes, lol). Took until 96ish for someone to put all of these items to make stuff like this.
its too slow for trance, trance was at 120-130 bpm
Foolish man chooses unbound.
Wise man sticks with NFS II.
One of the best childhood game❤
false, unbound is surely a mid game but i say both are good
omg its worked so nice
cuando need for speed era need for speed💯💯💯💯💯💯
Love it
I don't know why but this sounds like something you'd hear in Red Alert or Sudden Strike...
I Love It NFS2❤4EVER
The best NFS
perfect
Still a banger.
This works surprisingly well, but I'd also love to hear a version in between this and the original.
What do you mean?
@@2ADVANCEDYT Just that I'm curious to know what it would sound like at a tempo slightly faster than this, but not as fast as the original.
