If you have a single monarch the world becomes your oyster with how many search spells you have you can probably set up tribute fodder somewhere but pure monarchs have 0 GUARANTEED ways to convert a hand without a lv5+ monster into a hand with one. The reason monarch is bricky is because you need ~8-11 lv5+ monsters but if you run thay many tribute summkns sometimes you just open too many of them and not enough gas
I think my favorite is Mega-Raiza, mainly due to its place in Floo making me envision them with all those tiny birds on their shoulders and that's absolutely adorable. Also can we just acknowledge how comically huge Mega-Grandmarg's hands are?
I really hope they will start printing more of the 3000 attack monarch. Would be cool to see what monarch gets combined with another monarch. Preferably alongside supports that works with 3000 atk and 1000 def

Beyond truly evil stuff like Floo's Unexplored Winds, I dare say that Horus can slot in nicely here. Beyond being ridiculously easy tribute fodder, they cover elemental attributes for Caius, Mobius, Raiza, and Gran. ...Heck, given how prominent Snake Eye still is, Winds gets you Thestolos. Run either Majesty's Fiend or Aurora and bam, there's Zaborg and full coverage.
Mithra is a spicy tech in Umi, because it sets up Kairyu-Shin's tribute summon and gives your opponent a non-water token, locking them out of summoning non-water monsters, and disabling Imperm and Evenly Matched.
Vampire Red Baron has Monarch stats at 2400 ATK and 1000 Defense and can special summon monsters it destroys in battle from the graveyard. With Domain, it has a respectable 3200 attack in your turn so can be useful.
My favorite monarch would most likely be Mobius the Frost monarch. My first introduction to yugioh was early duel links and i main decked him back when backrow removal was virtually nonexistent and battle traps like wall of disruption wrecked the meta. Sigh.... i miss early duel links 😢
Would be cool if we got a new monarch "reloaded" type structure deck. Introduce more combination monarchs or new spell trap support to support the higher monarch stats
i have many use for kuraz. using it with card like CotH/oasis for pseudo pot of greed, destroying my own kozmo ship/graydle eagle for some spicy play, or pop my own coral dragon + garura for 4 draw tho at times i also use it for tactical removal for something on opponent field
When I tell you, this video is perfect timing just because I bought this entire deck. Got all the maxed out rarities I could. Basically everything is ultra rare and I don’t think I’m going to drop this deck ever just because everybody’s reaching into their extra deck more often than not because of that stupid Fiendsmith engine like omg i’m really hoping we get more support and thank you so much for the wonderful content More support in the future hopefully
So here's my prediction for the rest of the combined monarchs. They seem to be following the wheel of elements (for anyone who's seen of played the original Bakugan you know the wheel of elements) and combining the direct elements. On the wheel fire is directly connected to darkness. So next ones would be Earth & Light (Granmarg & Zaborg) then Water & Wind (Raiza & Mobius). As for which would be the dominant body I don't know. Honestly I feel like Granmarg would be the main body of Earth & Light, while Raiza would be the main body of Water & Wind. Lastly if we give them names E/L would be the Ray Monarch (Crystals & lasers themed) and Tempest Monarch (Massive Storm themed). Don't ask me on effects because the way they seem to be combining the effects is a little tricky to me. Lastly if they do merge Erebus & Ehther they'll have to make 2 variations: where each one absorbs the other.
i play monarchs and i use it with kashtira. ogre has monarch stats so if i have ogre why not the other 2? its such an evil deck also it doesnt use the extra deck

They couldn't have been any cheaper with their adaptation of the corresponding Sentai show if they'd tried, and the "Legendary Battle" was godawful compared to the Sentai version. Let alone that the Sentai 'Legendary Battle' was resolved by the assembled Sentai using their powers to destroy the alien fleet at the cost of dispersing most of their things that let them morph into the galaxy/universe, and the pirate theming from what we got as "Megaforce" was because a group of pirates had started going around gathering the 'keys'. Haim Saban also supports some questionable stuff so let's just say I'm glad I already fell out of interest in Power Rangers.

Kashtiras actually mix very well with monarchs ogre even has monarchs stat lines and they help with getting body’s on field
I've enjoyed Erebus, the Mega Monarch *specifically* against my buddy's Zombie deck. An in-archetype Zombie that can remove Zombie World is wonderful.
My fav tech is Ultimeat Offering, the retrain of Ultimate Offering. More tributes during opposing turns, and even more summons on my turn

There are still several manga and anime exclusive Monarch cards that have yet to be released to the card game so maybe .
Well monarch could get rituals 😂😂, that’s the only way they can implement a mechanic without affecting their core of tributing and no extra deck.
