The reason the sauce never tasted spicy enough is because hot Cheetos and takis make their snacks spicy by adding straight up isolated capsaicin (they call it ‘chili pepper extract’), that way the flavor of chili pepper doesn’t get in the way of the other flavors in the seasoning. Another thing that may really help get the exact flavor is adding MSG, that’s a crucial aspect of the authentic flavor.
I am so glad that sodium citrate works on vegan cheese. I gave mine to my brother when I went vegan. Then I took it right the hell back from him once I watched your first video where you used it.
I have been obsessed with Takis lately. Seriously, it's a problem. Lol. I tried making the spice of it to put on potatoes but I'm WAY off. I'm going to have to try this.
I always love a good mac n' cheese video, even though it always means I need to make some immediately after. The cautionary tale is impeccable and effective btw. I will never try boiling Takis...
Wanting "to stop eating and to keep eating" is a sure sign that you got it right LoL ! Did you read the ingredients on the Takis bag? Try this with Fries also! Going to go over and get your other alfredo and hot n spicy recipes also. Thanks!
what if instead of bowling the takis you smash them real fine dry? maybe you can sprinkle that on top when you're done. might be the perfect topping and add a nice crunch ;)
TBD, you are a seriously dangerous man. This looks way too good. I thought for sure you’d slap some on a burger at the end. I’ll just have to do that myself now. Will report back in. 🙌
Simultaneously wanting to keep eating and stop eating hot food is the best and worst thing ever :D I just wish they had more cheddar like vegan cheeses in germany. Really hard to find around here.
Satan's toilet 👿🚽😆😂🤣 Seriously though, why have I never tried this? I love Mac & cheese and most anything hot. Gonna have to try a version of that soon. (The best part is my hubs hates hot stuff so it will all be mine 😁).

Thanks! I’m surprised I didn’t use MSG!

😭😭😭😂😂
@SOSpammy. You sound like me. 🤣🤣🤣
Actually, when you don't know what you're looking at, that first attempt looks like a delicious tomato sauce 🍅
Love Violife Mature Cheddar blocks. I found it at a health store that carries a lot more Violife than any other place around me
why does it look so good tho 😭😭😭

I wonder if processing the Takis down to a powder before adding to the pot would help with the texture. Just a thought.

My acid reflux, got activated just watching
all those hot pepper sauces being added.
In spite of that, the end result looks really GOOD!
Bro... Your filming and editing and everything is so, so good.
You should have a thousand times as many subs, hah.
thank you!!
And congratulations for the 30k subs 🎊
Definitely try red pepper paste next time!! I’m sure it’s be great!!

Looks so amazing!
YUP! Leave it to Thee Burger Dude to do this. Dang, I don't even eat Mac but THIS! This right here! It looks good
Your videos are the BEST 👌
yessss please! this looks so good!! haha the taki version was pretty nasty though lol

Yes!

Well now that you mention it, I have no idea why I didn’t. 🤦🏻♂️ Good idea!!
@@TheeBurgerDude 😎🙌
Have you tried the limited edition cobalt blue-colored Takis? Surprisingly delicious.
Yes they tasted like normal takis to me?
I have been adding spicy stuff to mac and cheese forever! It's so tasty that way
Simultaneously wanting to keep eating and stop eating hot food is the best and worst thing ever :D
I just wish they had more cheddar like vegan cheeses in germany. Really hard to find around here.
Not a fan of the hot &spice but since Thee Burger dude made it I will hit the like button!
hahah I appreciate it!!
Looks delicious.
I'm not a fan of spicy foods, but I’d try this!
Yummers in ma tummers.
Love the commentary... looks devilishly good lol
My O-ring hurts by looking at this.
Spicy Mac and Cheese is my go to
Ima try to make a baked version 😂
Simply 🤤🤤🤤
What common vegan emulsifiers can you use other than the sodium citrate? (can't seem to be able to find it)
Oh no! I'm not sure about a substitute, I guess it depends on where you live, can you get it here... modernistpantry.com/products/sodium-citrate.html
Is there any reason you use water instead of vegan milk for the cheese sauce?
Nope, you can use plant milk too, just make sure it's unsweetened!
it’s beautiful
A dish isnt spicy enough until it makes you cry! Or until makes you abandon all logic as you get up and try to run away from the pain in your mouth
The video style and your narration reminds me of Chef John from Food wishes.com except with vegan food. 😁
I like the Trader Joe's version of Taqis
does it have the artical color in it? (Red #40).
@@FLYINHAWAIIAN37 trader Joe's rolled corn tortilla chips chili lime flavor do not contain dye or any artificial ingredients
@@Boomtendo4tw oh ok. thats chile lime flavor. Im thinking its spicy like Takis. I don't do chili lime chips
I NEED to do that! I'll be using a few carolina reaper sauces!
I feel like you should of put some garlic powder and onion powder to get the cheeto flavor. Maybe some nutritional yeast.
ohmygod i need this in my life
Satan's toilet 👿🚽😆😂🤣

This doesn't feel Gordon Ramsay approved but looks good to me
Finally a vegan channel that is not about forcing people into being vegan and as Gordon Ramsay would say to vegan teacher *Vegan donut*
I think those Takis contain carmine, at least they do in the UK
Not in the US they don't!
@@TheeBurgerDude Truly jealous
Aldi takis are great as they do not have food coloring. Neither do Trader Joe’s ones
I would crumble some Takis on top as well 🤌
no vinegar? NO VINEGAR? where's the tart punch that flamin' hot heads so crave?!
Frank's is a vinegar based sauce, you could definitely taste it!
My body has an aversion to anything looking this red that isnt tomatobased.
More for me!
Hey! beyond meat just dropped its new chicken trips, do u think you can maybe make them into vegan chicken burgers😋😋
Weird request: stuffed mushrooms!
It's beautiful 🔥😵
Wow, this looks muy bueno 😋🥵
Here 👋👋👋
Littyyyyyyy !!!!!!!
Haha Satan’s toilet 🤣
I think that the UK’s Twisted Flamin Hot Cheetos are vegan.
I think the first part of the vid ruined takis for me, lmao
Lammooo Spicy enough?
YUMMMY mY iBS iS NOT THERE
Is there anything you can’t do
Takis aren’t vegan they have red 40 which has beetles in it
Incorrect vegan.com/blog/carmine/
It is vegan. However, it’s not cruelty free since food dyes are tested on animals.
iS tHe cAyENNe vEgAN?
Talkis have eggs
Nope.
www.worldofvegan.com/are-takis-vegan/
I don't know...sounded appetizing at first, but seeing it didn't look good at all
Really loads of spice
