Absolutely buzzing for you Alex (pun intended 😂) that you picked up a vectrex, it’s probably the one machine other than my commodore stuff that I just never want to ever part with. I checked mine, it’s still here so it’s mad we both have a boxed console with the top polly missing haha! Some awesome games to start with as well, you’ve already got more games than me, definitely check out the homebrew scene as it’s very active and very impressive! Oh, nice to see the C64 running in the background as well! Top stuff mate

Oh boy what a pickup. All killer no filler :). It’s one system that I still want to get at some point, though the longer I leave it the more expensive they become. I had an opportunity to buy one about a year or so ago for £270 and I slept on it, regretted it ever since to be fair. I think if I ever get one now that I’m going to be paying through the nose. Great stuff Alex.

In fact, my dad was at work one Friday back in the mid 1990's, when he was taking trash outside his workplace, he noticed the Vectrex TV console, took it home, and showed me that. When we tested it, the power switched on, and there was this ASTEROIDS style game 🐱👍🕹️. It was pretty cool 😹👍🕹️. By the way, you got yourself a new retrospective channel subscriber from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮. 🐱👍🕹️

I think you've had a result there mate, the console and box looks in great Nick and for the money with all those games I think it's a bargain Spike is fantastic with fantastic speech. I actually like the "buzz" it's part of the charm I think, I wouldn't want to get rid of it personally Awesome find👍
Thats a fantastic buy mate, you can get a repro polys (its only poly who cares if its not nearly 40 years old) I did the buzz off and the stereo mod myself to mine, makes a world of difference i can tell you! like you the buzz just went through me (i have hearing issues so perhaps im just more prone to hearing certain tones?)
The poly isn't that bigger a deal for me maybe one day I can get one,the buzzing is annoying so will probably get it done but the more I play it the less I notice it Thanks for watching 👍
