How much did everything cost
Question, the exhaust on my car is 2 1/4 inches Inside Diameter and 2 3/8 inches outside diameter. What size clamp should I use?
if you're still trying to figure this out, I would go with just under the outside size.

I’m kind of late to this post but if you told us about the high silicon why didn’t you put any on there? Have you experienced any leaks yet?
I didn't add any because i wasn't planning on having it on for a long time. It does have a small black stain on both sides where it has a little leaks.

If you are going to keep it on for a long time then i would recommend the copper silicon. If you decide you want to remove it you just have to scrape the silicon off.
Can you delete the mufflers and kept the cat intact with the same sound?
You can but the cats will muffle the sound a bit
Should have thrown a Super 10 on there.. Sounds amazingly aggressive.
I have the 3.5 inch flowmaster Pro series muffler because its one of the quietest high flow mufflers on the market that has a great unique sound.

They are 265/70R17 but my truck is lowered a bit.
Did you go back to the hushpower Flowmaster or did you leave your Tahoe straight piped ???? And what did you like better ????
I put the flowmaster back on after like 3 months. I love the straight pipe idle but at 2500 rpm it woul get very raspy and the flowmaster sounds great all the time👍

Where I'm from they don't do smog testing so the passes just fine and the inspection is only 7 bucks.👍

What size and where do I buy the pipe
The pipe is a piece of 3.5 inch galvanized fence post i got from work a while back ago you can probably get it at home depot.lol. The original pipe size is 2 and 3/4.
I’m gonna do this same thing to my Hemi Ram, but I’m deleting my cat converters.
Just be careful, deleting cats is against federal law

@@moejr14 nope, no cats just a straight 3.5 inch pipe from the headers back. Where i live they dont do smog tests.

Don’t do muffler delete…. So cringe… just buy a performance exhaust… even just a magnaflow resonator and muffler will sound 100 times better… muffler delete is what broke kids do…
The muffler i have is a performance muffler. I just wanted to hear what it sounded like straight pipe is all 😁.
@@eldrewski7597 if you want a loud but good sounding exhaust I’d recommend test pipes, a aftermarket resonator and a good name brand muffler. The difference is crazy
