    Thank you! This was very helpful. We use ashwagandha powder for dogs in our rescue as it helps them with anxiety, and have recently started growing it and needed help understanding how to harvest.

    Thank you. Love your garden. Spotted the Echinaceae next to the Ashwaganda. I have Ashwaganda growing in the backyard. Looks healthy but only a few months of growth. I appreciate the detail on how to use the plant and look forward to your other videos.

    Mine naturalize and also most come back after the freezing winter nights in So. Calif. Birds like the seeds and spread them. Pretty drought resistant mostly.

  • @ahamoments132
    @ahamoments132 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for this video :) . Is there a specific age that Ashwaganda needs to be harvested by? Your video shows what looks like a lovely tender root system of mostly fairly fine roots, whereas my plant which I just uprooted has 4 or 5 main roots about the thickness of my thumb, which taper off to about the thickess of my little finger with not very many finer roots beyond that. It does smell pungent, but if it's a horse it's a slightly 'sweet' horse... Thank yiu :)

    You just pop the berries and dry the seeds out? How come I'm reading that eating the berries can be unsafe? I have so many questions i just bought my first plant and it's now fall..i have it under t5 lamp and going to grow it all winter of course. My problem is do i top the plant or just let it keep growing straight?

    How did you get your plants? Would you recommend? How did it go? I have something similar growing wild in my backyard, but not sure it is the same, but it is a weed that has "paper husks" of similar shape, that contain berries. Does anyone know what it might be? I am in the Midwest, USA
