I wish I knew how to use coral draw and the vector process. I need an apprenticeship! I have been following your channel for a long time now and its great you're back.

When doing the hearts and diamonds on the chin, I noticed you did some black spray before the red. I'm curious as to why?

A red pearl candy is sprayed lightly over the black to give it a red sparkle when the light hits it just right.

You mentioned using automotive PPG paints. I assume this means they are solvent based? If so, is the only reason pretty much that they dry faster than water-bourne paints?

That's one of the reasons. I find them faster to work with in general.

Hey Jay, I have probably watched all your videos in the past, and still wonder...what vinyl masking are you using? I generally use Oracal with success but the blue/transparent is not flexible for curved areas and the white removable seems to leave residue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Great work mate!

Avery White Paintmask. I believe Oracal makes products specifically for waterbased and one for solvent based.
