This is a life saver! Seriously. Somehow, even with the mocks I did, I definitely focus on the subject term/structure etc., more than effect. I also wrote about everything in the 'could' part, because my teacher always emphasised we HAVE to talk about everything there, writing about everything I found too. (I'd definitely be vague...) Hope I get full marks!
I’d recommend going from Q5 - Q1 so you can secure the top marks and then pick up easy marks with the early questions and if you run out of time then it’s only 4 marks
pointlessproductions that would personally put me off the timings. It helps to do question 1 - 5 since you could use some points and ideas already used in question two for question 4 and the extract may help with ideas for question 5.
Grug that’s true, for me, because I am quite a creative person I like to start with the creative writing so that I can have a nice start and then think of some good stuff whilst I’m writing that’ll help my other ones, whatever works best for the individual I guess!
Yes that recommendation works wonders! My teacher told me about it and I tried it. I guess if you’re good at the creative aspect, it help by a significant margin.
Thats pretty bad bro, stick to Terminology Evidence Analysis Zoom Explanation Link to context And if you do it well enough you should get to a grade 5 in a few weeks of hard work. Then you can be more flexible with the structure and for the sake of a sophisticated analysis, add snd subtract to teazel
So my paragraphs don't have to be that long? Interesting. It's clear and concise and I think that's what I need to work on. Just one piece of evidence and explode it. Thank you sir!
For the language analysis question in paper 2 (where the skills are the same) the latest exam report said students are required to explain in as much detail as they can the function of an image and how and why specific words are chosen.
I was thinking on buying your English Language revision guide because I think it would be suitable since you properly explain the way to answer certain questions but you do AQA and the exam board I am doing in College is Edexcel.
Do 2 paragraphs, one on a successful method the writer has implemented (similes or metaphors) and the other on another such as lexis or semantic fields. Be sure to include a lot of connotations (like what the method suggests) and develop them. Make your paragraphs short and efficient (they get the specific point across).

i always can't thing of stuff to write because i forget that you can just make stuff up as long as you have evidence.
I tried this two days ago, I didn’t write enough as I needed to and still got 6/8 marks by using this structure.
i have my exam tomorrow thank you Mr Bruff for your top videos :)
Well done Mr Bruff, Loving these animated videos, keep up the good work. Your an absolute life saver.

What was in the mock paper
yeh unfortunately, mines next week. good luck if u aint done it already
Ive been told i have to self isolate for 2 weeks even though my mocks are in a week :(
idk when mine are ;-;
I was here before my mock
I guess if you’re good at the creative aspect, it help by a significant margin.
dont
I got a grade two in my mock but these videos give me hope that I can pass !
Thats pretty bad bro, stick to
Terminology
Evidence
Analysis
Zoom
Explanation
Link to context
And if you do it well enough you should get to a grade 5 in a few weeks of hard work. Then you can be more flexible with the structure and for the sake of a sophisticated analysis, add snd subtract to teazel
I always work from the back of the paper fowards and I was 5 marks off of a 7 good luck!
Sian’s Life I think ill try this

How much should you aim to write in the 10 miniutes for the 8 mark question please ??
GOOD LUCK EVERYONEEEEE💕💕
Extremely helpful video Sir, thank you
So my paragraphs don't have to be that long? Interesting. It's clear and concise and I think that's what I need to work on. Just one piece of evidence and explode it. Thank you sir!
For the language analysis question in paper 2 (where the skills are the same) the latest exam report said students are required to explain in as much detail as they can the function of an image and how and why specific words are chosen.
Whoever disliked this song should get their covid tests done, because one of the major symptoms is no taste
Thank you a lot, I really need a recap of what each exam question is and how to answer them as exams are around the corner :,)
time to start revision 1 month before gcses
Talking about time i was told to go from the last to the forst because if you must lose marks its better to lose four marks x
lol, watching this the night before. Am I cooked?
We all are
Such a life saver thank you ! 💖💖💖
I just realised im watching this exactly 2 years from when it came out
so did you not have to explain the effect on the reader and If so, where was it because I couldn't find it.
This is and all of your other videos are lifesavers
Great!
So, how many paragraphs would you recommend for this question? 2/3 or just 1? I forgot to ask my teacher this question…
Focus more on what you can write in the time that you have - approximately ten minutes. There really is no set number of paragraphs required.

Anyone here before the mocks tomorrow?
I was thinking on buying your English Language revision guide because I think it would be suitable since you properly explain the way to answer certain questions but you do AQA and the exam board I am doing in College is Edexcel.
Yes it won't be any good for you I'm afraid.
Do 2 paragraphs, one on a successful method the writer has implemented (similes or metaphors) and the other on another such as lexis or semantic fields. Be sure to include a lot of connotations (like what the method suggests) and develop them. Make your paragraphs short and efficient (they get the specific point across).
Thx for this comment this clears a lot of my questions
