BEST TEACHER EVER!!! She explains it all so simply and clearly. Most importantly, she doesn’t assume we’re all statistical and Excel geniuses and doesn’t hyper speed through. So many other tutorial teachers click everything so fast I can’t even see what icon they clicked when I pause it. Thank you so much!!!!
This is a holy grail man. It's already 5 am here in PH and I'm still doing my online worksheet due to Covid - 19. This saves me a lot. Time to watch Elite!
Brilliant, thank you so much for explaining this in simple terms! I've been spending hours going through people explaining regression as if you need a degree in statistics to understand the jargon!
to the poin, clear, perfect. as keren Lin says, it is possible to do it in more than one way, this one is one of the basics and ur tutorial was just neat.
Why is the R squared in the actual graph different than the R squared of .3846 vs the R squared outside the graph? Correlation measure of strength of .62? Thanks.
If you were wondering about (-0.62_)^2=0.3844 vs the R^2=0.3846, they are really close. The issue is that the -0.62 is rounded. Before she reduced the number of decimal places, she had r=-0.62016, and that value squared does round to 0.3846. I hope this helps.
Because this is a simple regression which has only two variables (an independent variable and a dependent variable). We are seeing how changes in the interest rates (independent variable) explain changes in the house prices (dependent variable). To include year in our regression, would change it into a multiple regression model (which is actually more robust at explaining causal relationships as it holds the other variables constant).
I have three value Time , Data 1 and Data 2 these 3 value changes every 2 mins(Which is in only one row) . how to draw the line if the value change plot the graph. Please help
HI Mona, if the x variable is the number of employees in various functions and Y variable is their productivity in %, would this method help to predict the increase in productivity in various functions if the number of employees is increased in such a way that more than 95% of employees in each team has =>30% productivity?
why is it all my physics professors say linear regression is different from a trendline but you dont??? Im so confused cuz I know if I put a trendline in my graph im getting points taken off...
for future reference use the data analysis tool under the data tab and click the regression option then you can manually add the x and y values with only one respective title of the column so that the software does not get confused, then you'll see many different values including the p-value
this is why im hopeless in my class, follow vids to a T and cant get it not going to graduate because of this i double click axis and the optjons are not there for me
no long intro, no sponsorships, gets right into the content, love it !!
This video explained more in 5 minutes that two chapters from my assigned reading in Data Analytics class. Thank you!!

This is my first comment for youtube videos. This help me a lot! Thank you so much. ❤️
Brilliant video. This tutorial explained to me what I did not know I did not know!
This is incredibly helpful. Very clearly taught & explained. Thank you so much!
Can we say simple! Thanks I needed this 36 hours ago still have time to re-check all the calculations I made.
I can't believe I found this video. Thanks a lot for this!!!! Awesome
absolutely love it...thanks a lot....It took me few hours to understand this initially and the video did that in 5 minutes....
This video does a FAR better job explaining this than my current statistics class, thank you.
Your tip about "Quick Layout" - is amazing) - Thank you!
Thank you so much. This was so helpful. You did half a semester of college stats in about five minutes!
This is so clearly explained, by obviously a pro...Great tutorial, thanks!
the video is precise and offer a summary of linear regression. it save me alot
You can also use the regression in Data Analysis
to the poin, clear, perfect. as keren Lin says, it is possible to do it in more than one way, this one is one of the basics and ur tutorial was just neat.
You are so to the point and knowledgeable.
Great explanation in the shortest amount of time. Thanks :)
This videos was very useful for me. Thanks for it.
Helped me solve a math problem. 10/10
You're a life saver. Thank you so much!
Thanks for showing the formulas and explaining the meaning of slope and intercept.
I learnt R,python,SAS all about linear reg and now I feel excel is still powerful and easier 😂
I need to learn Python but still on the way which way is easy
ommggg thanks, I have an exam tomorrow and my teacher never explained this, I finally understand where the Y comes from
This was an awesome video. I
Learnt a lot in such a short time
THANK YOU! bro just saved my career🙏
this was so helpful for me studying health science thank u soo much
Best video so far on linear regression
Thank you for making this task easy. I appreciate your simple explanation.
What a clear explanation. I'm beginner and I understand clearly. Thank you for sharing Mona.
Thanks for explaining it wonderfully 🙌🙌
Hey, thanks for the explanatory video. Is there a way to build predictive or forecast with the last equation?
Thank you, too perfect....! You won a subscriber...
I had to replay parts of it many times but wow very good.
Great! Is it possible to do multiple lines in one graph in Excel? Is it also possible to keep the line but remove the scatterplot?
You just saved my semester thank you
Hi! How would I add another layer to an existing regression formula, as in this example? If we wanted to show more data
Lady you just saved my thesis
no nonsense, straight to the point
How did you slope and intercept automatically pop up when you put your elements to linear
I had to leave a comment, you saved me
Thank you so much. Short and to the point!
a master at work 🥶
and like all good channels, this channel too stopped posting. thank you for this video!
Thanks a lot for this great tutorial!
I will forever be indebted to you thank you!
Thank you very much! So helpful
You are amazing!!! Thank you so much.
Exellent, thanks a lot, i would use this regression analysis using excel for my huge data of atmospheŕic chemistry, hope this method will work

Hello Mona I know this is an old video but I hope you see my question. Can this be done with Stocks? thank you in advance.
Fantastic, Incredible, Bellissimo! Thanks for the Great Vid :)
Thank you for wonderful explanation.
I do not know if we can use truncated graphs.
Excellent video! Thank you.
Thank you Mona, nice video :)
Great video, thank you very much!
How did you calculate the median home price?
thank you :) this is very helpful
Why was the year not used at all here? Asking because it is listed along the X and Y axis.

What if the formula gives you a minus instead of addition? Did I enter something wrong? I mean excel did all the work.
Very useful. Thank you!
This is such a good video
can you do this but have two x variables aka two predictor variables?
Hello, I did linear regression, but my teacher did not accept it because the number of steps in the formula was low. How can I increase it?
why is it all my physics professors say linear regression is different from a trendline but you dont??? Im so confused cuz I know if I put a trendline in my graph im getting points taken off...
Saved me on my Accounting Project, thanks
this is brilliant. thanks so much
You're awesome, thank you!
still helping even thou its been 7 years thank you
where do we write the formula?
ur the best !
Excellent video
Pls,u re moving fast.Take u time and teach us.Thank you
I’m dumb I see this gives r2 but how would you find r1
Have I said I love you yet?
Thanks!!!!!!!
Really sweet.
Thanks this is great. For my course work I have to also include a p-value, do you know how I obtain this?
for future reference use the data analysis tool under the data tab and click the regression option then you can manually add the x and y values with only one respective title of the column so that the software does not get confused, then you'll see many different values including the p-value

Thank you woman
Thanks a lot ❤
does anyone know how to get the average value for x and y?
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!
this is why im hopeless in my class, follow vids to a T and cant get it
not going to graduate because of this
i double click axis and the optjons are not there for me
Great content, however, some may have a difficult time comprehending it. The content is presented too fast for learning something new.
Thank you!
cool tut!!!
Can u share your dataset?
saved my life
really appreciate
thank you sooo much!
