I need to understand how they equalized the power to weight ratio across the field. Those supercars must be carrying a ton of ballast for the 86 to keep up with them.
Exactly. There seems to be a lot of straights in the anime where the super cars can easily outpace the 86. It isn't like the 86 is just outracing mustangs and even corvettes in the corners like i've seen from TH-cam racers. In the anime, the 86 is winning against lambos n Porsches which I find hard to believe.
Yes there is a special way in MF ghost to equalize the winning chances between the different cars, watch the anime and it will be explained to you.
@@noseboop4354 I'm up to date on the anime, seems they haven't announced it yet. I'd imagine if it's not adding ballast/weight to cars, it's probably reducing their power output with engine detuning.
@@shadowsaiyan Perhaps you may want to rewatch it, there is a very specific rule in MFG that is explained in the 2nd episode.

I was wondering why when they closed the car door of the 86, it sounded so damn familiar to me. I owned an 86 for 6 yrs and it was a sound I heard every day. The atttention to detail to record all those car specific sounds is amazing!

I wish they did something for the new 86 design; the OG 86 is so recognizable part of me wish the design for the new 86 was on par rather than stock red with just the number 86 on the side
I love this , seriously, there is no way in hell a poor 86 can compete with any of this cars lol, like it would be nice if he could dry the 86 to commute and maybe do some street racing underground but actually race on a decent car, but whatever we are here and we love it.
Ryouske is the creator of it because after takumi won the race and went to his home he called Ryouske to join but there is age allowed like 18 -24 takumi can’t join but instead he became a trainer so kanaka race instead

mf ghost is the next step from project d, but kanata only joined because he was basically depressed while being mentored by takumi so takumi told kanata to enter mf ghost and regain himself because mf ghost's unique rule of power to weight ratio forces the driver to rely back to basic driving skills, and by relying on the basic fundamental skills kanata remembers who he is as a person
The fuck are you talking about? They're all in their mid-40's in this show. Takumi moved to the UK to be a professional driver after Project D, and fell off the side of a mountain in his GR Yaris. He retired and became an instructor who's notable students are Kanata Rivington and Emma Greene.

That's why people that talks about the founder of MFG Refers Ryosuke as "Ryo Takahashi" Because Ryosuke even if he created a Racing Organization he also wanted to be anonymous to the public opinion and then he leave the charge of General Manager to Fumihiro, who was his second hand years before in Red Suns and Project D.

I can’t warm up to this series at all unlike it’s predecessor. I think even the animation and the way the characters are drawn is throwing me off. Wishin a different studio animated the story. I’d probably like it more. I mean just look at that side by side 4:18

The art style of the Initial D character is a ultra down grade Keisuke doesnt even look like the one from Initial D
