I bought the RG Zeta and put a semi-thick flat matte topcoat and thickened the joints with some glue and now 2 years later even after multiple transformations it still has tight joints, no breaking and no parts falling off. Just put extra effort and it will be good 👍
@@insansiregar6158 I cleaned my RG Zeta and made sure to sand it and put 1 to 2 layers of topcoat (Small part use 1 layer big use 2 layers) let it rest and tighten the leg joint a bit with some glue and done. The legs are a bit loose now but not to the point of falling or losing the pose, the only thing i dont like is the plastic of the old RG and the stickers are peeling of
@@insansiregar6158 I got the RG Zeta cuz i wanted a 1/144 transforming Zeta but i recommend the HG version if you want rock solid joints, get the P-Bandai version its better than the normal one believe me i got the normal and P-Bandai. RG Zeta not for everyone

It should be noted that Egg's model is a red label (Bandai logo) kit, meaning an original print from back in the day. The blue label ones are re-prints and while it's undoubtedly made with the same mold tools, I think they've figured out their plastics and temperatures better since then, as the tolerances feel better. There's a huge difference between my red label RG RX-78-2 which was falling apart almost immediately after building it and my blue label Zaku II which years later is still solid.
Speaking of the HG Revive...you do know that thing comes with the Hyper Megalauncher (that huge blue gun) as well, right? Of course, just like the MG 1.0, it sucks at holding it properly. Maybe that's why they chose to wisely leave it out from the RG kit.

I built one of these on Sunday. I modified mine by changing up the colors. Mine is called the "Zeta R" Gundam. Great video!

It's certainly possible! I have avoided reviews or pictures of the kit on purpose so I can be suprised if I end up getting it.
