JannaHarith I know exactly how you feel, when I was 11 and I didn't get my letter I cried my heart out that night. And sometimes I still do because I feel like I don't belong here. Like I was supposed to be someone else in another world. Like I was ment to study magic, go on quests and I've prayed too, to a god I don't believe in. I asked for a chance to wake up in a bed at hogwarts and to live the rest of my life in the wizarding world, but it just didn't happen. And then I always remember "It does not do to dwell on dreams, and forget to live.".
Just remember that as a person in the real world you have not just got the opportunity to go on your own adventures but also the opportunity to visit other realms and live the lives of characters like Harry Potter. When I read the Harry Potter books I entered this world of magic and adventure, but I have also entered thousands of other fictional universes- and have begun to create some of my own. You may envy wizards, but as muggles we alone have that magic within us.

The bit about Salazar Slytherin disliking Muggles was because he is prejudiced with Muggles killing sorcerers regardless of their character (which were true enough with the prevalence of witch hunts during the middle ages.)
I'm in Hufflepuff. It's not so bad here... The only time we were really mentioned in a big event was in the Triwizard Tournament. One of us died then. But Helga Hufflepuff was kind and she took the odd ones out, the bullied ones, even Hagrid says we are "A bunch of duffers" And yet I forgave him because we value kindness. I love the rest of the houses too. Brave Gryfindors, Misunderstood Slytherins, and Witty Ravenclaws. Much love from the Badgers.

I can see why you may think it's negative, but I think of it as positive though, it's more like, since the other three houses are often too selective with who they want to teach, Helga being kind and the welcoming witch, and thinking that teaching magic is for everyone, there's more to being a witch and a wizard than being brave, wise, and pureblood. I don't want to agree with you completely: when Pansy wants to offer Harry, the Griffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff table rise and stand between them, the Slytherins don't move and don't show any will to help in the battle (except Slughorn). But I can understand your point, they aren't really asked. For them, it's a safer way to offer Harry. McGonagall threatens Slughorn to a duel if his house sabotages Team Hogwarts in any way (Slughorn is unsure how to handle the situation at that point).

Ravenpuff here! As a Ravenpuff, I can confirm this. Hufflepuffs are loyal, and will do almost anything to prove it, Ravenclaws are clever and knowledgeable, but we aren't all just big nerds! We've got people here who are loyal, who are creative, people who can be daring when needed, we're complicated! I personally hate it when people call us booksmart- Look up its definition and you'll see how it could be offensive. I like to take the Pottermore test every few years, and a few years ago, I got Gryffindor! So... I can confirm the Gryffindor too! Some people think that they're daring and dumb, but they aren't really DUMB. They're daring, and loyal, not dumb, they just like a good adventure! So yeah, byeee- Imma head out-

JannaHarith I know exactly how you feel, when I was 11 and I didn't get my letter I cried my heart out that night. And sometimes I still do because I feel like I don't belong here. Like I was supposed to be someone else in another world. Like I was ment to study magic, go on quests and I've prayed too, to a god I don't believe in. I asked for a chance to wake up in a bed at hogwarts and to live the rest of my life in the wizarding world, but it just didn't happen. And then I always remember "It does not do to dwell on dreams, and forget to live.".
Just remember that as a person in the real world you have not just got the opportunity to go on your own adventures but also the opportunity to visit other realms and live the lives of characters like Harry Potter. When I read the Harry Potter books I entered this world of magic and adventure, but I have also entered thousands of other fictional universes- and have begun to create some of my own.
You may envy wizards, but as muggles we alone have that magic within us.

I'm in Hufflepuff. It's not so bad here... The only time we were really mentioned in a big event was in the Triwizard Tournament. One of us died then. But Helga Hufflepuff was kind and she took the odd ones out, the bullied ones, even Hagrid says we are "A bunch of duffers" And yet I forgave him because we value kindness. I love the rest of the houses too. Brave Gryfindors, Misunderstood Slytherins, and Witty Ravenclaws. Much love from the Badgers.

I can see why you may think it's negative, but I think of it as positive though, it's more like, since the other three houses are often too selective with who they want to teach, Helga being kind and the welcoming witch, and thinking that teaching magic is for everyone, there's more to being a witch and a wizard than being brave, wise, and pureblood. That's why she decided to take care of everyone else who might have felt left out and felt they didn't belong. Idk, that's how I see it. I'm a Ravenclaw btw.

I have to admit that not all slytherins are like the classic stereotypes we think they are like cruel,evil,dark wizard and other bad things. Like really slytherins traits aren't that bad. Cunningness and ambition are some. I just hate when I say I'm half ravenclaw and half slytherin and when I say I'm a slytherin they tend to not really like me that much and start just disliking me for being a slytherin. So all I'm trying to say is that we slytherins aren't really as bad as you think.

I don't want to agree with you completely: when Pansy wants to offer Harry, the Griffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff table rise and stand between them, the Slytherins don't move and don't show any will to help in the battle (except Slughorn). But I can understand your point, they aren't really asked. For them, it's a safer way to offer Harry. McGonagall threatens Slughorn to a duel if his house sabotages Team Hogwarts in any way (Slughorn is unsure how to handle the situation at that point).
