Oh okay, yes 😊 Once you have the MicroSD card in your Nintendo Switch it may want to format it first but it will otherwise detect it and you can see it in the settings. Any new downloads should go directly to the inserted card so there's no reason to remove it now 👍
Look I'm starting not to like switch I even got the new one and I'm having so much trouble with trying to move my games to the SD card I'm just sick of it even when I buy a game online it always say bad data they should make the same system with enough space
I'm sorry to hear that! 😔 In this video I try to go through the processes of moving or re-downloading games from the eShop so I hope this video helps. I do understand your frustrations with the limited built-in memory
@@SvennyMcG my main problem is say if I have my SD card in and I'm trying to download anything it will get close to finishing it says corrupt data but I noticed when I took it out the game is downloading fine and is there away to me it SD card the primary if so that will make it much easier because I have a 1tb SD card
@@darkbloodgt6577 From Nintendo's site: When a microSD card is inserted in the console, it becomes the default save location for downloadable software. Have you tried the MicroSD card on other devices? Wondering if it's the card that is giving you these issues 🤔
Okay. Nintendo has a list of compatible cards and offers instructions (including powering the system right down and trying again). You can view it here: en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22482/~/microsd-card-is-not-recognized

Awesome!! Happy to help 😊 Thanks for watching!
If I did this with Zelda tears of the kingdom would it delete the saved world?
I wanna ask about something. I add it and I don’t remove it ? Or I have to remove the sd card?
At which step are you referring to? In general, once the SD card is in the Nintendo Switch I'm not sure why you want to remove it?
@@SvennyMcG I am new in inserting it , I just bought one , so I don’t remove unless it finished right?

@@SvennyMcG no I was new I didn't have anything on it
Okay, it should be the primary source to download to so hope the issue resolves itself
Doesn’t help at all
What doesn't? You need more memory?
@@SvennyMcG it says my micro sd card can’t be found I have a SanDisk one and I’ve tried at least 10 times now and it’s still say it’s not working
Have you tried it on another device so you know it's not something wrong with the card itself?
@@SvennyMcG no I only have one switch , an iPhone and a ps4
