I love the fact that this was a complete impromptu performance. He was there watching the band, they called him on stage to sing….no rehearsal, no practice, nothing. Just straight up raw talent. Absolutely amazing.
I love how the band members are in awe & just watching him.

The KC Jazz Foundation ran an after hours improve jazz club down in the 18th and Vine district. (Our old town jazz area) They opened at 2am and closed at 5am and you paid a $5 donation and they served drinks in plastic cups out of two two liters of mixers lol There was 2 floors, the downstairs has a baby grand and both stages were fully stocked with instruments and people would just get up and play together sometimes strangers sometimes regulars. It was such a crazy mixture of people and walks of life, and as far as I know there were never any issues with people. Just everyone having a great time listening to a jazz jam session pretty much. Those were amazing nights 🖤

I found you through Tom Macdonald but I found Tom through Chris Stapleton. Sounds crazy I know ... ankle bone is connected to the shin bone. That's how life works .... the CMA performance with Justin is special ... the Austin City Limits Version of " I was wrong " is superior vocal and guitar work .... and there are some he has that will make you cry ... take the ride Mello . Chris is so incredibly talented, amazing!!! I'm so glad you found him. I wanted to recommend a couple of other artists for you to check out, Morgan James and Yebba they are both sooo good. Also you should check out PMJ with Haley Reinhardt singing Creep by Radiohead, so good!!
