I also have to add that after making this video I did run into one progression bug that did not allow me to progress the game further and I had to move onto another quest. Hopefully Ubi will fix this until the official release.
@@Cepas28 Honestly, I'm very confused. From the gameplay I've seen, it seems like a very interesting game. I'm not a fan of Star Wars as a series, but I really liked the game's world and design. Additionally, the protagonist seems interesting, and overall, the game makes me want to buy it. However, 9 out of 10 reviews I've seen are extremely negative. I can't remember ever seeing so much hate from the community for a game. Furthermore, to be honest, I'm quite wary of Ubisoft. I'm hesitant to buy it, but I'm on the edge.
I like this game. Its fun to be a scoundrel and i love the feeling of being in the Star Wars universe. Want more like it. I think people that are hating on this game are being a bit harsh. Its not a perfect game but to call it "trash" is not accurate at all. I think some people just love to hate on ubisoft. I get it. But its a pretty fun game
@@jdsmith1740 and that's what matters. Everyone has their own thing for games, if you love the game, doesn't mean I must love it too and vice versa. Same with books or movies. The most important thing is if YOU are having fun, cause YOU bought it, and if you are, it's money well spent imo.
Everyone loved Baldurs gate but I thought the combat was slow and boring, I’d rather play this then Baldurs gate, so we are all different in the games we like
I started playing it a few hours ago and i am hooked. Truth be told, i have loved the Star Wars universe, ever since i watched A New Hope at the cinema, back in 1977, i was 12 years old at the time. I have played quite a few Star Wars games. First one was Dark Forces II Jedi Knight, then Galactic Battlegrounds, TIE Fighter X - Wing, then Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, haven't played the Cal Kestis games yet. Best movie is Rogue One. I don't hate Ubisoft. I played AC's up to and including Rogue, all 6 Splinter Cells and i am still playing them. And people have also liked Far Cry series and Watch Dogs. If someone doesn't like the microtransactions and early access crap, do not use them. I have never bothered with them, when the game comes out, people will decide if and how they like it.
I actually love this game, I got the 3 day early access and there was a few bugs, nothing to bother me that much, then the patch came out and fixed all the bugs I saw, had to start over but didn’t bother me as I knew how to play it more so stating over was more fun, this game is getting a lot of hate but I honestly think it’s a fun game
I'd say it's a game you have to try for yourself to see if you like it, cause I did enjoy my time with it and others say it's bad. You can always refund in 14 days or before accumulating 2 hours of playtime if you don't like the game.
You remember those really crappy games that suck, but that box art looks cool? You rent it at blockbuster or hollywood, get like 4 hours of decent "fun" out of it, then return it and never play it again. Yeah, thats this game.
@@ThousandairesClub innovation is hard to come by these days everywhere. I highly recommend playing a game like Batman Arkham City for example from 2011. It kicks Outlaws in the ass in Ssory, dialog, movement, world design ,ai literal everything despite modern graphic effects. They managed to have dead upper faces. It sounds catchy what you wrote but its just not true. Black Flag also kills this gane and is more than 10 years old with better animatiins, much better world interaction and design, better everything. Sorry but this game is trash and people excusing this is the most sad part of it
Yeah I played all the Batman games and enjoyed them too. SWO far from trash in my opinion. It's playable, enjoyable, etc. Sure, it might lack some features that would be great to have, some gameplay directions devs took might be strange, but if someone enjoys the game, is it really trash? Have you seen The Day Before? Now that is what I call trash hahahaha. And if you don't like the game, doesn't mean someone else has to dislike it too, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and decisions, I just said mine with this video :)
@@Cepas28 maybe trash is too hard but compared to other games the lack of fine tuning is imo quite shocking especially for a game with that price point. Just take the execution animations. If I compare that to Batman who wins? And there are quite some other aspects like animation of running / walking...etc but if you have fun that's great
unironically I would play the game if i could just make my own character, i'm a huge star wars fan i legit just don't want to play as some horribly ugly woman.
I mean they will probably not reinvent the wheel in 2 days, but some bugs might get fixed. Feature wise I doubt anything will change, too late for that.
What are your thoughts so far on Star Wars Outlaws from what you seen on the internet overall?
I also have to add that after making this video I did run into one progression bug that did not allow me to progress the game further and I had to move onto another quest. Hopefully Ubi will fix this until the official release.
Nevermind, it was just me and my stupidity not figuring out how to use Nix in that case 🥲
