To replace your speakers, if they haven't been replaced once before, you're going to have to buy a speaker harness for the vehicle you're changing it on. You can find them on Amazon.com pretty easily.
In my '98 Ram 1500, the driver's side speaker does not work and I'm pretty sure it is because of the wires, because the guy I bought it from put in an aftermarket stereo and rewired the whole thing. How do I replace that wiring?
My stock speakers have a large metal piece attached to the back of the speaker surrounding half of the magnet. There are more than two wires attached to a waterproof plug inside of the door frame. This is NOT a stock speaker!
No, my truck is was basically new when I bought it. It only had 56000 miles but the speakers were pretty good. Until I started hearing rattling from the right speaker

I don't get it. I hardly need instruction on hooking 2 wires to 2 wires. But no one has a video were they're hooking a speaker with 2 posts and a harness with 4 wires. What? Is it a state secret?WTF?

a 10 mm socket and extension takes off the one bolt holding the handle on. Makes removing and reinstalling the door much easier.

You were not using a Phillips head screwdriver to pry the door panel off, im pretty sure that was a flat blade?
the door handles come off first, makes things easier. simple #25 torx screw.

Some have infinity speakers wich have a sound filter on the speakers.

That was not the stock speaker,that was a coaxial pioneer,and Chrysler doesn't use those.

Any 6x9 will do but Kenwood's usually sound better than pioneers. I always used piooners. My f250 van in the back doors I dropped piooners.
Those are not your stock speakers where is your amp that fits on that speaker

Syre XI it’s probably the magnet on the back of the speaker that’s too large to allow the window to come down. You might need smaller speakers

Rears are 6.5 round.
Around Christmas time you can find a good set on piooners sets. Both 6x9 and 6.5 included plus deck.
