This video and song is what sold me on this kid back in 2018. It was my favorite music video up until Bury A Friend came out. You should check that out by the way. As far as this video goes, she had the vision of a spider crawling out of her mouth and created the entire video around that.
I’m a rock n roll fan and way to old to get billie... but man her music is so raw and amazing, nothing like her around right now, she’s killing it.

LMFAO I CAN'T WATCH THIS VIDEO OT CREEPS ME OUT! I see that y'all have the same issue. I like the song and her music but.... NO! It is real. She has a video of the making of the video. I am the same as far as I listen to ALL types and era's of music. I'm a weeeee bit older than you gentlemen lol so I grew up with some of the oldies ( 80' and 90's) as they happened. Apparently, she loved doing the stuff with the spiders. Like many people, I guess, I thought the one that comes out of her mouth was CGI or something, but in an interview she credits a lady for showing her how to hold a spider in her mouth - so sounds like it was real!

Shes one of the most unqiue artists currently out there 17 years old and she has a musical mind well beyond her years she consistently turns out videos that are wierd captivating and interesting all at the same time and shes got a beautiful voice live shes really good

She has like a “holy trinity” (that’s what I call it anyway aha) of weird/creepy/different music videos. They’re You Should See Me In A Crown, When the party’s over, Bury a Friend. They’re amazing songs and videos. She also has a good other few videos such as bad guy, Hostage, Watch and more. She’s got an amazing angel singing voice as well

I was listening to the words in the beginning but when the spiders came out crawling on her at that point I really couldn’t even here the words. I can hold a spider very calmly but if I see one crawling I will scream so loud it’s sounds like I’m being captured I can’t stop scratching now.

This is why I have mixed feelings about her: some of her music seems to be cool, but she just seems to try too hard to be edgy. This video is a good example, and I've watched an interview of hers before that rly made me cringe bcuz of that
