    👉 I will like to add to your demonstration of the Rechargeable 💡 Bulbs.
    The 💡 Bulb can be screwed into your house / wall socket also and it works really well and is always kept changing once used as a regular light 💡 Bulb. If power goes while the 💡 Bulb was on, it will remain on and give you light for about 3 hrs +, however if power went and the Bulb 💡 was off, all you have to do is flick your light switch on and you will have light for about 3-4 hrs.
    No need to remove the Bulb 💡 from the wall socket, just use it as a regular Bulb 💡 and save electricity at the same time, because it a 9W Bulb 💡 that puts out 60W of light, so you save electricity. 👍

    FYI just used during a power outage. You do not need to unplug from the wall and plug in the adapter for the light to go on. All I had to do was turn the lamp switch off and on and the bulb lit right up. Didn't see that in the instructions but it worked beautifully.

    I bought a ceiling light socket and placed aluminum foil in the light socket base. Now, when the power goes out I unscrew the bulb from a lamp and put the bulb in my light socket just described. The base stands up, is portable and easy to use. It is also safe.

    Just to add to your demonstration the lights will remain on when the power goes out if the light is plugged into a lamp or some other object like a switch and can work from a switched light. Also Walmart sells their own brand of the light for only approximately five bucks.

    I don't really see the benefit over a normal flashlight. So when the power goes out, I have to stumble in the dark to the lamp, unseat the bulb, find the adapter (hoping it hasn't been misplaced) and plug it in. A flashlight is much easier to operate. Now if the bulb could work within the lamp without having to unscrew and seat a new adapter, I'd buy a few in a heartbeat. Nice way of presenting the video though.

    I have a new couch and end tables that I’d like to have table lamps on. The problem is that there’s no outlet nearby so I was thinking of the rechargeable bulbs but worried that it wouldn’t last long enough time thru an evening.

      oh sir it does stay lit in the socket AS LONG as your socket light switch or lamp is in the turned on position. i have 9 bulbs and i will be ordering more when i can afford them. i have them and some light switches also as seen on tv some battery back ups for phones some old android phones for music and videos, bluetooth speaker and usb fans etc in an emergency power outage box along with using these bulbs daily to charge them.

    This led Light bulb is not practical. It is a terrible design. The emergency bulb need to have a sensor so it only goes on at night, If there is a blackout. The problem is that when my lights turnoff in the morning this bulb keeps on & after few hours its battery discharges. So when the lights turn on at night it takes many hours to charge and if there is a blackout early in the night it only lasts for a very short time. The manufacturer needs to add a day sensor so that it does not turn on when its not needed.

    • @wilcoxtactical3716
      @wilcoxtactical3716 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This isnt correct. I've got 8 of them in my home and they operate like normal bulbs. I have them in my hallway, inside garage, inside a closet and my living room light. I use them as normal bulbs and when the power kicks off the bulb will act as a normal light. If the light is off the bulb remains off and if you flip the switch it turns on, despite having no power. They work great. The downside is that they don't work in fixtures that require 3 bulbs but will function in fixtures that house 2 bulbs. They work flawlessly and last about 4 hrs without power. Our outages last a couple hours so it is generally enough to get us through a power outage without using the generator. Not sure why you think it's not practical. It charges every time the bulb is on and holds a charge for whenever you need to use it. It doesn't automatically turn on when the power is out. No sensor is needed.

      The bulb charges while being used in a standard lamp. When power fails, remove bulb, add adapter and push little tab button to turn it on

      @@DIYHIPChickshi how would I know if it’s fully charged?

  • @done971
    @done971 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice video. However, you will still get light at the original location without the adapter as the lightbulb has been charging previously. It should come back on automatically.
    Where the adapter is helpful is in an area where you don’t have an electrical socket but need a lamp. You would just screw the bulb in and add the adapter to the end of the cord that would normally plug into the wall, etc.

    To much hoop jumping for something a flash light can do especially if the power goes out and it's dark in the house how are you going to find all the adapters since most draws people will throw them in are going to be cluttered why not design these with a swich on the bulb itself so not only do you not need adapters but you don't have to take the bulb out

    • @DIYHIPChicks
      @DIYHIPChicks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it would be helpful if switch was on them but I keep the adapter in a drawer. Not my junk drawer but one that i actually keep organized. But i do have that other nightmarish drawer too. ;)

    • @dancoulson6579
      @dancoulson6579 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The way these operate, you don't actually need an adapter at all.
      Switching it on at the wall (when the power is out) allows it to cmplete a circuit through other wiring in the house.
      A limitation worth knowing however, is that because of this, they can't be used in fixtures that use more than one lamp, because when you turn off the light, it will complete circuit through other bulbs in the fixture and think there is a power cut, remaining on.
