We live in IND & 25 yrs ago my mom just quit dig'n up my G-ma's rare color Canna, but my dad turns over garden each yr w/ deep plow. Until this year We haven't seen a Canna in 20 yrs. He went real deep & a Canna popped up. To my sheer excitement!! The bulb was the size of a pea (tiny) and now it's my job to keep it alive (scary) Can't wait to see how much it's grown!! The plant above ground got 4½ almost 5 ft... so it looks healthy. Gosh I hope I do things right. Do you HAVE TO break peices apart?? That scares meee!!! My grandma died 15 years ago & it's so important to me that I keep it alive!!
