Holy hell. That implication of Kirisuna having an Underworld child is HUGE. It could go in so many directions, but no matter what it's clearly going to be MAJORLY important. The fact that SK Kirito still exists out there (with all his memories, including that) complicates things even further.

If we conservatively estimate that they had one kid every five years for the first 150 years they spent in the Underworld, and that each of their descendants had a kid at 25, 30, and 35, then after 200 years, they would have a total of 8,048 descendants, of which 7,648 are still living (assuming a lifespan of 80 years), with the oldest of their 8th generation descendants just about to start a family. Gamerturk I check some calculation of the development time, I think the UR arc would covered about 7 or 8 volumes or maybe less 😐. Also, Vol. 22 may not count as part of the arc but they might treated as flashback episodes if brought it up in the anime.

And I wouldn't mind seeing a video covering the apparent connections between SAO and AW.
Answers (spoilers) below: Im mainly implying the family structure in its whole family structure, how Kamura Shikimi is the biological mother, how White Cosmos is the sister, how Kuroyukihime is not a real Fluctlight but an Artificial Fluctlight that overtook the body she resides in, basically only being Kamura's child in body, not in consciousness etc.

I find it interesting how Eolyne is shown with a sword; considering how the Integrity Knights are now Integrity Pilots and, as far as I know, don't use swords anymore. Another thing... Kirito mentions how the list of Katankana in underworld was limited compared to the real world. I dont know much Japanese, at all. This caught my eye because of how Eolyne steers away from using "boku". Edit: I meant *kanji, not katakana
List of *Katakana words* is limited, because Katakana is the Japanese syllables used for foreign words. All they know is Japanese and Sacred Script (English with latin letters). Boku is a simple Japanese native word and thus is used with Hiragana, or rather Kanji. Nothing weird on that front. Hope that clarifies things.

To clarify, Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana are merely the "alphabets" Japan uses. It's not the individual words they use. You can write Boku both in Kana and Kanji.

The scene that I'm mentioning may not be that big of a deal when they have to cover a whole lot of stuff in the final arc of Alicization but I want to see that scene. WARNING:- THIS QUESTION ID ABOUT A SCENE FROM LIGHT NOVELS SO THERE IS A SPOILER. Do not Click on "Read More" if you are anime-only. My question is about that scene when Kirito and Asuna were flying to save Alice and they had their brief "moment" and a kiss. The dream sequence cannot be skipped at all, it is the core of Kirito's story in Alicization and onwards. Final battle in Underworld? There is no content to stretch there. It's very rudimentary and it even ties back to the dream sequence. Final battle should not take longer than a full episode.

We dont know how long it is going to run, but Reki suggests we are around the 40% mark currently.

I don't know I gave Accel World another try and was able to enjoy it. But I don't really want the the worlds to be connected. But they can be set in the same universe, again, just my unpopular opinion. But if it does, then it does no harm done. Both really well written series.
No need to consider it to be a proper sequel. AW is still its own story even if the timelines are confirmed to be connected.
