I have a question why doesnt Asuna call Kirito Kazuto in the real world? I really dont understand that since , he already corrected Asuna that is not my name at the end of Alfheim.
Their relationship is a blend of in game and irl, especially when so many of the most eventful and impactful moments in their relationship happen in game it makes sense why she calls him Kirito in real life. It helps that his game name is based on his real name so it is close.
I starting to read Unital Ring and knowing that this arc is like Progressive on the tone and the stakes r high, which I like. How old is Asuna and Kirito in this arc? I hope Reki creates unique evil characters in this arc that are cool and interesting.
Kirito is turning 18 the week after the events of this book. Asuna has just turned 19 in this volume, but Kirito is mentally turning 20 since he spent 2 years in the underworld time accelerated. They directly talk about this dynamic in this book.
@@AirspeedPrime I heard that Unital Ring takes place 6 months after Underworld, so does that mean all the characters body age change through that time? Also what is your thoughts on Suguha character design change from the Ln compare to the previous anime design of her that was original?
From a quick check it seems to be more like 2 months between the end of Alicization and the start of Unital Ring. The ending stuff in Alicization is August 2026 and Unital Ring is in late September 2026. So I guess they grow a bit, but not much. Not sure what you mean with Suguha's design changing?
@@AirspeedPrime That makes cents having Asuna bd in this volume, since Asuna birth is Sept 30 and a week later is Kirito bd which is Oct 7 in the wiki information. What I meant design, change is the original anime Suguha was thicc more and Alo Ln, Alicization anime and Underworld was more leaner from the Abec illustration had in Alo and Alicization throughout in the Ln.
My biggest problem is the newer books bringing in the Ordinal Scale incident as Canon, when there still is not a light novel version of it. In the canon of the light novels, somehow certain aspects of the anime is now the canon and other elements are not. It's confusing. Also, did we need a char clone in SAO? Seriously? And it's not like it's much of a mystery who the char clone is.

@@reierkeemil4784 I honestly have not noticed much change in how Suguha is illustrated. Seems pretty consistent to me.
Who yall want to voice Matusina?
I want either Rina Sato or Nana Mizuki
