    A thing that helps is being old 😂 I had Levi’s in the 1990s and I remember how real denim (not denim mixed with elastane or whatever) actually feels. That helps if you’re shopping in person, though not so much if you’re shopping online

      I f***ing hate that most Levi's nowadays has elastane in them. I want denim, 100% cotton denim not some thin stretching sh!tty wannabe denim. I've started buying Levi's 540s, they are 100% cotton denim that's nice and thick and feels nice and durable. The fit for me of 540s is perfect,

      Yes, its rare but not unheard of for authentic levis to be missing the stamp.

    Can you please help me understand what is Levi doing with its vintage line? Like, I have a pair of Big E jeans. Did they make new jeans with all of the old designs and particulars. Like, we know that legit Big E Levis were made during a certain time frame. If they are creating new Big E's, now are you supposed to tell that both are authentic? Or not?

    I just bought a Levis 501 XX dark wash jeans. It's older branding with a tag stitched inside says Levis original 501 straight leg Button Fly.
    On the back leather patch It says patented in the US and you can see the lines in Hats and the illustrations of the two figues of Two horses pulling the garment. It looks totally different compared to the newer Levis patch.
    It's made in Dominican Republic wpl 423. Could this be Fake ?

    I recently bought 2 Levi pants, a 501 and a 505 for only 80 euro's, the old lady told me it was new old stock (it was on a market). I've studied them they look and feel legit, they are this thick material it just feels durable especially the 501, the 505 is a bit more stretchy. I only miss the tag on the inside with the Levi's logo on it? Could've been cut out, but in the 505 all the other tags seem to be there (with washing info etc) It does have all the other keypoints you mentioned, so i am gonna say they are a 100% real. On the pocket it says quality for over 140 years or something, so i guess they are pretty vintage lol. And i think the 501 says 135 years, but i gotta check since i am wearing them lol.
    As you mentioned, Levi's are not really the type of brand to be counterfeited en masse like you mentioned in the video. Got to say, it stresses me out a bit there could be fakes. I don't like counterfeit products, i like to be real and also own and wear only the real thing. I don't like being scammed.
    The old lady had lots of other brands as well, Diesel G-star Pme etc.. Mainly the oldschool ones, i want to go back again this Sunday lol and get me some other brands as well, and maybe get another pair of Levi's, if she doesn't have, i probably return back again in October.

    • @LootFam

      Nope, about 1 in 10 red tabs are intentionally left blank to protect the trademark of the tab itself and not just the letters printed in it. Thanks for watching!

      @LootFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have seen a tab on the left back pocket but ironically there was also one of the right side too. It was a fairly rare production error. The only batwing i’ve seen along the interior waistband is the one on the care tag. If you have pictures you can send them to lootfam1@gmail.com. Thanks!

      Hey Jason! the 511 is a bit of a newer style for Levi's and they have made many different variations of the 511 over the years. I'm less familiar with some of the newer styles like the 511. If you like you can send me some photos to lootfam1@gmail.com and I can take a look at it. Thanks!

    Hey! Thanks for this video! Hope you van help out. Bought a levis 646 04 (orange tab). Most things look Good. But the jeans doesnt have any rivets at all. And there is no branding on the inside (the label near the inside pocket it big and doesnt have a logo). Can i assume they are fake?

      @LootFam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Would you mind sending some pictures to lootfam1@gmail.com? I’d love to take a look.
      The orange line lost lots of rivets so it’s not crazy to have none. The tag is an interesting question. Typically on 646s they would have been from the 70s and therefore as all tag, but it’s possible they were still in production in 84-85 when levis had a brandless larger tag for like two years.

    Hi Lootfam1! Thanks a lot for the video! I truly like that you give various informations and more detailed that on a lot of forum or video! I did send you a mail with some pictures and I have a complementary question.. 😅 is it possible that the back of the rivet could be unstamped? It's for the pair of 501xx. For me the rest of the jeans looks really coherent, but of course, I am not an expert.. thanks a lot for your help with this! Always a pleasure 🙏 😊

    • @LootFam
      @LootFam  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Yes, it's possible to be unstamped. Typically this would be considered an error not a standard. Sometimes the button can be rubbed down to smooth as well. If I haven't gotten to your email I'll certainly try to! Been behind on emails.
