Thank you for swinging by our booth Stan. I think we last bumped into each other 5-6 years ago at the world of asphalt in Houston. Asphalt... now concrete... next time let's bump into each other at the world of Pizza or the world of Burgers... time to step into the world of tasty! Nice to see your son rolling with you. Family first! Be well!
Wow, I love to see you taking your son along - No one masters the details of a craft or learns the possibilities of an industry by sitting at home - good on you
She did ask if there were any other questions. Perhaps if she had stated more facts and pros about the machine folks would have been enlightened. I'd like to know about Grease points warranties and how the hydraulics are.
Idk that it was his weirdness as much as a tendency to be passive aggressive when he senses a lack of professionalism and claims of extreme professionalism. If he didn't have that emotion, and never expressed it, he wouldn't be able to be who he is for us. High standards create discomfort in those who don't have them. Don't feel sorry for the lady. It probably helped her as long as she doesn't use it as a reason to be bitter. In which case Stan was not to blame because that was pre-existing.
Man That Millner-Haufen Cutter seems amazing. I mean for all I know there is a bunch of comps making something like it but I have never scene them and wow that seems easy to use.
Crazy, thank you for the kind words! It is a great and easy to use tool. It isn't magic, but it really does a solid job on sheet goods less than 14 guage and it is way easier and cleaner cutting than snips and no heat like a plasma. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out directly. Happy to help in any way we can. We also appreciate a follow if you are willing.
the Japanese are one of the few nations that actually have some form of consistent quality because the Japanese are very particular about their products. If the Kato equipment really is made in Japan and not made in china and assembled in Japan then they should be a quality machine from the get go.
Really liked the tripod lighting those were nice three adjustable wings especially with how bright LEDs are now days .. that cutting tool was pretty dang cool too everything at these shows are pretty awesome honestly
Love how some reps just can't be assed. 😂 You would think they would want sales or at least enjoy what they are selling. Great video. Stay safe 🏴
yup, especially when 'the random guy' is recording - doesn't mean he/she is as well known as Stan, but also doesn't mean he/she isn't - the rep doesn't know and should be treating every enquiry as a serious matter.
@@gordowg1wg145 I tend to look younger than I am. I also became management fairly early in my career. I would be sent to trade shows with a very liberal budget. I struggled to get the time of day of most reps. So comming to this particular show I wanted to get a pallet of cordless drills, a pallet of cordless impacts, and 4 batteries per piece (among a bunch of other stuff we needed) The milwaukee rep completely ignored my questions, shooed me away. They kept acting like I was bothering them. Wrong move. I walked right back to the dewalt booth and loudly said. "I want to buy (said my order). Milwaukee couldnt be fucked to deal with me" Naturally the milwaukee reps instantly tried to get me over. And thats how dewalt has been suppling that companys need for 16 years. Its sad how much business ive choosen over the years based purely on customer service. The best reps treat everyone like they are valued customers. I want to know we are spending 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars, that we will be reasonably taken care if.
@@nes999 Agree 100%, got a LOT of stories of people being ignored, or looked down on, who had some very serious money on the line. For example, a personal case - my late mother, who would habitually walk round in bare feet, jeans and T-shirt wandered into her regular bank and asked to see the manager for a bridging loan to buy a house. The teller basically dismissed her, as did the manager when she insisted he be called in, so she told them she was closing her term accounts there and moving to the bank across the road. They were quite condescending with the manager telling the teller to take care of it... then the teller discovered mum had around 8 times the requested loan amount on term deposit, called in the manager in a panic and they both tried to talk her out of leaving. Her new bank was delighted with the business.
Yeah, some of these people better hope their boss doesn't see this. There's definitely plenty of good salesman out there. Hire them and pay them well because one will make more money than three of these people combined.
@@nes999 Kind of an unfair comparison and a stupid way to make a decision. Seems like you should've approached the DeWalt guys the same way you approached the Milwaukee guys. If you would've walked up to the Milwaukee booth and immediately told them your order, they would've treated you the same or better than the guys from DeWalt. Your comment makes no point other than "If you walk up to a salesman and tell them you're placing a large order, they'll treat you well."
That battery concrete saw makes a lot of sense being I’m always getting stuck breathing exhaust fumes putting in crocks for a sump pump in a small basement
After seeing your hair and your son's hair, I highly recommend that you buy a "Flowbee" the precision home hair cutting system. Best haircuts that I have ever had. Mine is 21 years old and going strong. It has saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
I saw Essential Craftsman using that Steele Mixer. Sure does make it easy to get the mix right. I wouldn't want to do a 40x40 4" slab with it but for very small jobs with no power handy it seems like a nice little piece of equipment.
