Do you like these AIRPLANE ENGINES ?
Yes I do
Yes,yes,yes.
I love these engines.
Sweet old donks
Good to see them still going.
3:50 10 cyl radial ??? Where do you find the 7 missing cylinders ?
6:40 9 cyl rotary ??? I see a 7 cyl rotary ?
7:30 Don't think that radial have 788 cu in displayment ?
Yeah, the one from spirit of St Louis is also 510 pounds according to video, I am guessing it's a miniature version although that is my guess as haven't seen confirmation. Being such a popular motor who did the first ocean crossing it makes sense someone made a mini, maybe a quarter of original (that seems different, usually a miniature is what, 1/20th or something?
Это божественно!
2:37 I’ll bet the neighbours enjoy the smoke and noise.
7:15 having a cylinder depart in flight must have been pretty shaky to be sure. Lucky for him to have two more engines on board.
Cole Palin... where do I start? I'll just leave it at loving "Old Rhinebeck" shows when I was a boy and we'd stop there on our travels to Maine during the summer in the '70s. Oshkosh was also on the stops one year; whatever year the Christen Eagle was featured and the Harrier did a demo.
I like the oil everywhere in the rich guys hood bet his neighbors love him!! The gnome rotary early in the vid
This channel should have more views
Shame there's no footage of motorcycle racer Guy Martin starting up his static Merlin engine for the first time in his dad's truck workshop. Apparently the engine flew across the workshop and damaged at least one truck and knocked a wall down! He started it up outside after that!
Recall hearing about these (jacobs) engines in the early eighties - the “shaky Jake..”
Start fluid it cranks them up
The Dehavilend gipsy engine was filmed at Queensland air museum Australia, I was there :D
Great compilation, however, at 3:17, you have a Gypsy Queen 6 cylinder inverted air cooled inline engine, not a 4. They powered the likes of Dragon Rapides, DeHavilland Doves and Devons, some Miles aircraft, and so on. 200HP through to about 350HP in later versions.
That's cool
6:10. Amazing it kept running
what planes to these guys intend to mount these engines in?????
and when will we see them powering the aircraft they were designed to be in
flying??????????
Nice Vid...but on some engine specs you're very lost....
But wait i also recommended Anzani 3-cylinder
0:20 TURBO FLUTTER???
Yes
Thank you for your Support
👍
6:40 is only 7 not 9 cylinders
Ben Lieckfelt he got most of the specs wrong.
I'd like to know how some of these puny engines are near between 400 to 1,000 cu in please 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@7:40 (ish) 220 Horsepower???!? Out of a scale model radial lawn mower engine?? Suspend my belief...
Karl Bjerke Briggs an Stratton is powerful stuff. Apparently love ya comment.
@@tonyloechte9994 Hey - I LOVE my Briggs and Scrapiron engines!! DAMN dependable! Easy to maintain! I don't think I'll be transplanting one into my truck very soon, though. LOL! Stay well!!

3 cyl not a 10 cyl radial, 7 cyl not a 9 cyl radial and a few other mistakes - need to do your home work better before posting
