What game is it going into?
Fantastic video and very timely for me. I bought a PinSound Plus and Speaker/Sub kit last week, should be here next week. Going in my STTNG, same DCS system as Judge Dredd, and the part of the video showing the 1.1 to 2.1 wiring conversion is exactly what I'll be doing.
Did downloaded it ,so far played one regular game and one super game you did a good job Cary as usual, i also have your lah file installed you do awesome work man, i think if this pinsound board becomes more known all the average games has a chance to come to another level maybe even close to as an A lister.
Hope fully one day we get a good sound package for road show.

Great info. This answered nearly all the questions I've had on PinSound over the years. One questions that I still have is how does the shaker motor work? Does it trigger with specific sounds or songs? How do you set the duration or pulse pattern of the motor? Or is it linked to other triggers from the machine?
I mention towards the end that you can edit all this in the pinsound studio software (free). You basically load the sound pack - select which audio file triggers the response - choose how the shaker will respond.
Hey Cary, thank you so much for the excellent videos! After I watched your installation video, I ordered the Ultimate Pinsound pack for my Data East Lethal Weapon 3 machine. Much to my chagrin however, it appears Pinsound no longer provides the slick 2.1 wiring harness. They instruct you to unsolder the old speakers, and resolder the new ones. Not a deal breaker, but still kind of a bummer.
Hope someday I get a Fishtales upgrade...

Hi Carey. Love the Dredd Capn mix! Quick question, did you include shaker events in it? My Pinsound diagnosis file tells me it doesn’t contain any shaker events. Sounds so good though!

How difficult is it to add pin sound to simpsons party? I’ve heard nightmares
Do you think it would be compatible with the pinwoofer sub amp?
I believe the board should be able to push a sub - I could be wrong though. It does great on the sub that you can get through their site.
so You can use the pinsound board also with original WPC 89 speakers ?
