      Thanks for the feedback. I had a hard time figuring some things out so I thought I would do my best to help others with common problems. Pins aren’t that scary once you get used to certain things. Glad to see the hobby continue to grow and hope to help that any way I can.

    Will do swapping the stops/sleeves on my DP Pro later this PM. Machine has about 800 plays and I could pan for gold in the bottom of the cabinet. Ha. Should have swapped them earlier as I did when I had my EHOH. Great video/tutorial!

      They seem to have gotten better over the past year but the pinball life ones work great and last a long time if you are looking to switch them. Thanks for the feedback and the support!

    I assume it would have been a good idea to clean the plunger that gets pulled into the coil as well, since the old sleeve was so dirty. Anything to recommend to use or not to use when cleaning that? I assume even just a damp cloth may be enough..

      I typically use a paper towel and a citrus degreaser spray (typically buy ZEP). Spray it on the paper towel then wipe down the metal part of the shooter rod. I works really well to clean the metal.

    Great instructional video! Should you use Loctite when installing the new coil stop bracket?

      You can if you like but I traditionally don’t. I see that more frequently on the bally / Williams games. I have stripped a few screws before so I usually don’t but I check things frequently to make sure they aren’t coming loose.

    Great instruction/video :-)
    Regarding the Pinball Life link and the coil stop brackets, which part number is it on the bracket you used?
    Thank you in advance...

    Great video! Do you have any videos on how to do a full stern flipper rebuild? I need to do on my TWD premium, thanks!

      I have not needed to do one yet but as soon as I do, I’ll be sure to make a video on it. May have a chance to do one on a Williams game soon. Picking one up very soon.

    I have to replace a coil sleeve for the scoop for a Monster Bash remake pinball machine. Is changing the coil sleeve for the scoop pretty much the same as replacing a coil sleeve for a flipper? Thanks!

    • @HurryUpPinball
      @HurryUpPinball  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the delayed response. It is a very similar process to changing the flipper coils. Just take a picture with your cell phone of the mechanism before you remove it to change the coil stops. You just want to make sure you reinstall it the same way that you removed it.
