    Great to hear this. Certainly need more of Alice Coltrane's music in my life. I like these less structured, more expressive and soulful forms of jazz. Great review. Cheers!

    Yesssss!!! This is one of my top 20 fav jazz albums. Alice Coltrane is a genius and one of my big music heroes. Her 70s albums are well worth a listen. Especially "Universal Consciousness" which is quite experimental and trippy.

      Unfamiliar with Dorothy Ashby but upon a quick search, her music seems interesting! I love some good harp focused music
