Try catching bait in the area you’re fishing with a cast net. Try to stay near the ocean, not too far away down river. Fish docks with your live bait on a Carolina rig (not too light not too heavy) or use a bottom sweeper jig with your live bait. Hook from bottom jaw, through top of the head on minnow and live shrimp through the sides and out the sides middle of the back.. Bait will stay alive and swim. Stingray spots are a no no and move on to further docks. Fish the piling of dock opposite of current where the break is. Keep bait on the bottom, try to be quiet and be patient. Stay vigilant, and God will answer your wants. If you’re looking for the artificial bits, you’re on the right channel. You can also fish oyster bars, and sandy bottoms. As far as flounder go, the summer flounder need high salinity but gulf flounder can be in nearly freshwater. Gulf flounder are caught around bass in the marshes in Louisiana.

Garmin Echomap Plus 74SV. I rarely use it in the warmer months though. Mainly just during the winter months when I’m looking for depth changes and schooling fish holding deep

LowCountry is technically the 4 southern counties in South Carolina but the Lowcountry is also considered any marsh system that experiences water level below the zero line.
