I just took/passed my RHS last week (Downtown Portland) and they really stress about the science of it! At least on the test I took. The dale foundation didn’t help much with the info they have you review, at least for the test I took. There’s many different variations of the test though. There’s a teacher that posted the entire dale foundation RHS review on quizlets! Just an FYI for anyone taking the test soon and may be interested in the study guide
M M yeah I’d definitely recommend studying landmarks, film errors, how the X-ray machine works and what each part does. Even though I wasn’t prepared for those specific questions, having general knowledge helped me eliminate a couple answers per question which definitely helped me pass!
Hi Cheyenne!! I LOVE your videos, your voice is so soothing , they are so helpful, iam currently in school for EFDA and having trouble with charting! Do you have any tips or pointers on a better way for one to understand it? Rather than the way the book plays it out which is confusing!
I'm nervous for this exam don't even know where to start to study now this virus school is closed and we have a class online so it's going to be harder to learn for class and I'm afraid and paying ALOT OF MONEY than finding out the same day if I passed or not ughhh
I'm in South Louisiana and am currently in a 10 week accelerated school that is hosted in an active dentist office (all day, 10 Saturdays). We become DAs with CPR certificates as well as being certified in Dental Radiology! I have 2 classes left, 1 regular and 1 with our final and our CPR certification. Then we can take our EDDA (our version of EFDA here) later. Love your videos they have really helped and motivated me as well as some of my class mates during our schooling!
@brittani juneau I guess by now you already graduate and are working. Can you give me an update about how was your EFDA test? My daughter is thinking about going into this 11 week training. Any advice?
I have been a DA since 1998. I had been federally employed and taken the federal X-ray test through the facility. I have taken the State X-ray exam but I did not pass 2x. The test was really different from the federal test. On the Federal test I scored in the 90% correct range but in the State exam I scored just below passing. I don't understand. But in the State test I did not recognize a good amount of questions. they were like foreign questions of things I was very unfamiliar with. So with that said I am afraid to work in a private office because I can't seem to pass the State. I have been working outside the dental field for a few years now. I could use some help in how and what to study for the exam. Thanks for your channel and useful information.
Took CDA exams today and passed :) Yay! Good luck everybody, it wasn't that bad! :)
Did you find out your danb score immediately after?
What did you use to study?
Can you tell the textbook you used to study?
Do you have a video on just Radiology??
