Help Help Question 7,,, In my notes regarding Rectangular collimation. I noted 5x or 500% reduction of radiation for a typical FMX. In our test explanation am I hearing 90%? I am such a dork but I have taken this Part 2 several times and really hope to pass it next month🙏🙏🙏🙏

My point is that Anode function is converting and also releasing photons ...

I know what you mean, but all the anode is doing is converting the electron that it receives into a photon. It does technically release photons but only because its primary function is to convert electrons into photons first. A is a more correct choice

Hi Dr. Ryan. for practice Q1, isn't increase OID equal to decrease SOD? if so, both C and D are correct answers.
No, because changing the OID does not have any impact on the source position.

MFD part 1 exam , what exam you mean by board exam ?
I teach to the NBDE and INBDE exams primarily, although some of this material may overlap with the MFD and other dental board exams as well!
