    • @syxepop
      @syxepop 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      J. Marr, SAW WHAT YOU DID THERE!!! (En- in Buicks, like Ex- in Ford crossovers + SUV's)
      But, Envoy was a GMC model (last US-spec TrailBlazer SUV), unless "Mary" does kill GMC....

    • @syxepop
      @syxepop 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kirby Masta, there are TWO DIFFERENT GM VEHICLES SELLING WITH THE TRAILBLAZER NAME. The one US will get soon is a SUBCOMPACT CROSSOVER to replace the Trax (or at least be the Chevrolet version of the slightly larger "Daewoo-made" Encore GX).
      OTOH, in international markets (mostly in Asia and Oceania with both Chevrolet and Holden nameplates, depending on market) they make in Thailand a TRAILBLAZER SUV based on the 2G Colorado BOF chassis, which is pretty much the successor to the old TrailBlazer / Envoy + XL. That's the one GM should've begin to build in NoAm, since it would compete against the 6G Ford Bronco 4-door.
      The crossover US will get will sell more, but the SUV would be more profitable for GM, so WTF????

    • @syxepop
      @syxepop 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kirby Masta, they might do it, but (why there's a GMC?) a far better use of the name and of the brand if GM began to build in US the overseas TrailBlazer as an Envoy / Envoy XL and sell this SUV as a GMC EXCLUSIVE (they have NONE now) to tackle the 6G Bronco at a lesser building cost for them (and faster to the market as well).

    The SUV's today share a lot of the room of the cars that were built in the 30's and 40's. The aerodynamic designs that came afterwards look modern but shoulder and headroom and height plus rear space were compromised. Hence the SUV's gain popularity because of size and space reminiscent of the earlier model vehicles decades ago. Americans today are much larger as well and need bigger space. The GX is a nice compromise where extra space is needed but not too big that parking becomes an issue and as a bonus it's still small enough to be agile. Good review.

      @@blang38 yes, but at this point GM is going to start making the sales of other crossovers go down meaning a longer ROI period for all of their crossovers.

  • @Transform108

    It looks great! But that engine is pathetic. Under-powered and uninteresting ... there are engines that are better on all fronts. GM has part issues they should address before yet another model.

      Yeah, how dare a company try to make a vehicle that's fitting for everyone. Like half of the reviews for the new Mustang Mach E and the new ford Escape were rolling their eyes mentioning ford made a spot for a woman's purse... Like so what since when has more storage been a bad thing.

    Buick is a great bargain.. This guy is a GM fan. My Rav4 trd averages 31 mpg. I got a 2.5L with 8 speed automatic, no cvt. Buick is the opposite of a great value. He's still drinking the cool aid. Horrible review.

      Idk 3cyl? My mom has a ford edge 4 cyl turbo. It gets along ok and a little peppy, but that transmission is always very busy and annoying. Has to shift to go ever even the slightest incline. Gas mileage overrated too!
