I've always wanted to get the hardware needed to flash all my favorite roms onto blank carts! I'm not sure what's stopping me, maybe I will make a project of it one day

Looks like I got my next project cut out for me :)
I had a project for Gameboy Color and used the Epilogue GB Operator. I bought a Geek Tech Batteryless Save Flash Cartridge and Flashed my fixed ROM to it. First I took Legend of the River King 2 English version Gameboy Color cartridge and Dumped the ROM then ran it through the Gameboy ROM Analyzer for Windows and changed the cartridge type to 1EH and fixed the header. This enables Rumble that was programmed into the Japanese version and just needs to be opened on the English version because the code is already there. Then I Flashed it and can play with Rumble using the Epilogue GB Operator. Just set Rumble in Settings and use your favorite Rumble controller. The ROM also works on the Pow Kiddy V90 with the Pocket Go Firmware Update. The Pow Kiddy V90 has a motor inside and after the firmware update you get Gameboy Color Rumble. Great game. ❤😊

Here's a dumb tip, but in the shots of you cutting the labels, you cut INTO the sticker. If you put the ruler on the other side, when you make a mistake, the blade goes to the unused space instead of the image you're trying to cut out and it's less prone to mistakes that way
If I do it that way, and I don't manage to get all of the non label, it becomes really difficult to remove the small sliver and it's wasted anyway imo

How can I find a cartridge to which games can be written to? If Mother 3 is not available or if I want to find a cart that has enough size for the proper save file?
Where did you get the battery patches for those files because when I try to patch the gba files I can save but it corrupts the game

I tried to do this with emerald kaizo and a bootleg emerald cartage i had, and it basically does not work. All i get is a white screen on load

i tried the same with the vega i did also the part with hex editor and i cant save the game it opens a blue screen and says ' save failed. checking the back up memory please wait time required about 1 min' after one min says save error. i write the rom with 32mb and 1m flash. can somone from this community please help me?
I just purchased a gba cartridge that can take Gameboy color games so I can make a custom cartridge of crystal legacy. This video is going to help a lot with making a label for it.
So working with another similar fire red rom hack I tried manipulating the hex in the same area, but saving still doesn't work on the cart and leaves me with the "1M circuit board is not installed" message on start. Game plays fine but will not save on the cart.
Can you put gbc roms on to gba reproduction carts? Like instead of vega put pokemon prism on to it or would you need to use a gbc reproduction cart
I’ve just done this for a bunch of games not just Pokémon rom hacks and it’s so awesome just I’m running into some issues where a lot of the games cannot save like at all. Does anyone know why?

So awesome!! I’ve been trying to put Pokémon Theta Emerald onto a bootleg cartridge I obtained a while back but can’t seem to figure it out it always fails when it attempts to flash to cart. At least I know it’s possible and I’m just a dummy lol.
I just got started into finally archiving all my games from all those years because now that digital stores are closing I’m feeling a greater pull towards physical media but most of my games the labels are all ruined but I got a burnmaster and all that and I just built my first modded Gameboy Color 😊 but I’m so excited to play my first romhack I’m gonna start with Prism. I’ve never played Crystal but hear it’s great. So I got everything I can to flash the game to a cart but I don’t have a way to print or make stickers 😂
This new hobby is expensive but I’m having a lot of fun honestly with going through every single one of my boxes from my moves over the years and finding all my games 😂 I played Dave Mirra bmx for like 4 hours and then plugged it in and played all night till like 7:30 am oops I had a day off but I paid for it today lol

How did you make Pokémon Vega not freeze after the introduction?

I did this and when I save the game it says it’s saved. But then when I turn off my gba and turn it back on the game starts over.

Cool now I can get distribution roms on cardridges. Time to sacrifise some cheap shovelware titles. Might be possible to do the same for the ds distribution roms

I just bought a GBxCart RW, in the goal of creating and importing my own homebrew games on a real hardware, so i bought third party GB / GBA games, to rewrite them. But I found out a bit too late that i couldn't use them... Could someone give me advices on how to get (clear cartridges for gb and gba / what cartridges can rewrite) with a small budget?

Yo bro I tried to do the same and I end it up with a gameboy game screen for fiora sky and the second game I chose a different hack rom of fire red called orange islands and I couldn’t save with flash 1m then I got angry and I flash the rom as sram and I solder a batery and worked fine. Can you help me with fiorra sky ? I am also on your discord server

Wouldn't work, it's an Essentials game and thus not made from a GBA game but as something that probably can't be ported to any Nintendo system

Yes
they are larger file size, usually 32mb i think, so if your rom hack is big like glazed etc, you need this. i cant even find 64mb ones lol
