Well you covered the custom shells, but maybe you could make two more videos; One for custom made PCBs, and another for custom DIY labels.
Hey there, thanks for the suggestion. :) there is something in the works on both ends, yes. Looking forward to see you there. ✌🏻😊
Cool, I like the idea of a sparkly shell - could make a homebrew cart really stand out.
Really glad this video showed what specific brands you used - I definitely want to get into creating custom products in the future (mods + originals), and seeing this greatly helped!
Also as one creator to another - definitely worth you using some affiliate links in the description to the products you used.
Glad i could help my friend. If you have questions, let me know and i see what i can do for you. ✌🏻
TheCrafsMan SteadyCraftin and Robert Tolone also have great Resin Casting Techniques.
Really great video! The cartridges turned out awesome
Thank you so much. :) i also made one about hydrodipping cartridges, it’s pt. 2 in some way. Check it out if you want 🤗
Pretty slick. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
the quality of these videos deserve way more than 489 subs
thank you! :) i will get there soon enough i hope. 🤞🏻
Thought it's a DIY PCB included tutorial😅
I have an Aluminum shell and a Brass shell from Boxy Pixel with Geek Tech Batteryless Save Flash cartridge guts inside. I use the Epilogue GB Operator to Flash. The Epilogue GB Operator also supports Rumble so I took Legend of the River King 2 and Dumped it and ran it through the Gameboy ROM Analyzer for Windows and changed the cartridge type to 1EH and fixed the header. This enables Rumble that was programmed into the Japanese version and just needs to be opened on the English version. It doesn't need the motor. Just the code. You will need to go to settings on the Epilogue GB Operator and set Rumble to on and you will need a Rumble controller. This is also playable with Rumble after this trick on the Pow Kiddy V90 with the Pocket Go Firmware Update. The Earthquake at the beginning will let you know if you did it right. Have fun. Way easier catching fish and battling is more fun. ❤😊
awesome! good for you my friend! :)
also nice that you had the chance to grab some boxy pixel products, easily s-tier stuff there! 🔥
are there any repro cartridge makers in the EU?
I want to try that too. Also doing some GameCube Buttons maybe. That Video was really cool, i subscribe
Nice one! :) let me know how it’s going, and also if you need some help or advice. Cheers ✌🏻☺️
Good work
Thank you! Cheers!
This was not at all what I expected but hella cool nevertheless. I have dabbled in GB development and wondered how to go about making a physical copy of a game without salvaging parts from any old games or buying cheap copies on the internet just to reflash them.
Thanks appreciate your kind words. :)
But to point in a direction with your case: there is a developer named HDR who’s involved in making a diy cartridge from a raspberry pico. It is still in development but looks really promising. If that one is in working condition, i will def make a video about it :)
No se inglés pero puedo entender el método. ya quisiera poder hacer mis cartuchos rosados 🩷 para cardcaptor Sakura de gbc
Genial
Can I please get a video on how to make my own gameboy game? Maybe using Gb studio or something?
Hello! Thanks for your request. :)
I really want to dive into making games myself, but the time commitment won’t let it happen any time soon. Sorry. :/ but a really good resource to start out is @PeterMilko
He knows the stuff in and out. :)
Cheers ✌🏻
@@littlemodshop thanks completely understand, and actually I'm already subscribed to Peter! Thanks
Hey Paul, my name is Paul too love your content if it wouldnt be such a money committment I would love to get into casting my own cartrdiges aswell or possibly to create a mastermold for possibly creating N64 cartrdiges with PET
Yes it is! But there are always more ways than one to tackle such a problem. For example, if you’re good with CAD or modeling in general i know for a fact that someone could help out with the money aspect. :)
Hope that helps and i am looking forward what you are able to do in the future. ☺️
Wait, bro is it possible that way releasing a gb game in 2023???
yes surely. :D a lot of people using GB Studio to make their own game, give it a shot! :)
@@littlemodshop wow, thx 🙏
Nice 😍👌🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
You need to make acces to buy these shells . Will buy them , for sure.
my process needs A LOT of refinement but i appreciate your kind words. :) maybe someday 🤞🏻
