Great video and info, I never realized about the charges. My £1.17 parking session with VAT cost £1.40. Convenience fee with VAT 25p. Two text messages, with VAT 20p. Do all the parking apps charge similar? Thanks a bunch. Total cost, £1.85. Inc VAT.
They all add some charges for sure! It's always worth checking through the settings as often it's for things you don't need, like a thank you for parking SMS message!
I live in SE9 area and Eltham is in GREENWICH borough so not a pathetic l3fty Borough but they have stopped their coin meters working. I downloaded their parking app yesterday and put my details in and was totally shocked to see it asking £1.50 for an hour and also mention fckin CO2 emissions of my car ffs. The parking with coins was 60p an hour previously- fckin disgusting
It really is! During Covid I went to a Cosy Club resturaunt and you had to sit yourself, download the app, order on the app, pay on the app - and then it asked for a tip!!!!

iPhones also show your parking on the Lock Screen so you can track you parking without the notifications.
