Hello from Italy, I'm in my early 50s but I'm a fan of Maneskin since 2017, just from the first day I saw them on XFactor tv show. These four guys have got something special, they're real friends since they went to middle school and, as they said in some interviews, they have always been focused on being musicians and making their music famous all over the world, no matter what critics and people said about them. There's a special magic, an alchemy among them and the different music backgrounds keep on blending their music, so they can play different genres or mix them together as in "Morirò da re". From the first album (mostly covers) to the last one (more rock songs plus rock ballads) they have explored sounds and got better and better. Damiano's voice is really extraordinary, as a teenager he began singing blues but can easily rap, he's a real "beast on stage" and so full of charisma. He's the frontman but everyone in the band has their role, there's no competition but a real bond like in a family; that's probably their strength, their magic formula: having the same goal and being real friends even when they're not playing. You can react to everything you find on their official youtube channel or to live performances, they will never disappoint you because as you said : "It's like being on a journey where you have never been". This was a really Great reaction, too bad it got blocked! This band is amazing, beautiful music, aesthetics, attitude, talent and also an important message. In Italy they became famous in 2017 when they were in the X Factor, they came second. From that time you could check out for example their audition with their song Chosen, the covers Begging and Somebody told me. They are at their best on stage, they have such an incredible energy and stage presence. Then there are these beautiful ballads Torna a casa, La parole lontane and Coraline, for the latter you’d better watch the translated lyrics video in order to react correctly, the lyrics are that important on that one. Aah and also Vent’anni is so beautiful! well for all of these the lyrics are so important but also the official music videos are so beautiful that I don’t know how you should react on them 😂😂 Radio Italia live performances are all great, my favourites being La paura del buio and Amandoti.I could keep going on with my list, they just have so many great songs, but let’s leave it here for now😅

You can choose what to listen to between 1 ep (2 original song and 5 covers) and two albums and you will never have any bad surprises, I assure you. One recommendation: their texts in Italian are important. Those in English are much simpler.

There are no two songs by this band that are the same whether they are sung in Italian or in English. They represent a new border which can mix past and future in equal parts. They took part in X Factor italian edition, but their debut took place as buskers in Rome when they were teens.

This band has sth so different, I haven't experienced anything like it in a decade, and certainly never in a foreign language. Their song writing, their energy, their band chemistry, their aesthetics, all are off the charts. Yes, there is a bit of Rocky Horror Picture show - but the Maneskin lyrics are very deep in most songs, very poetic. They are astounding, I always puzzled how such young musicians managed to create sth that the rest of the world is trying to but not succeeds....the sky is the limit for them....
