@freerobux49 i wrote “he disowned His son”. The fact he, at the end of the episode, try to kill Rick Prime when he say to search for Morty is a fact, not an opinion
@freerobux49 If Jerry really wanted to hunt Morty what would be the point of killing Prime who wants to hunt Morty? If they have the same goal it makes no sense to try to kill him, even more so he should let him go on his way. Jerry said he wanted to team up just to distract Rick and attack him by surprise (which he does, he attacks him without even making him finish talking). If Jerry really wanted to team up with Prime to hunt Morty he wouldn't have tried to kill Prime who says he WANTED TO HUNT MORTY, or at least he would have insisted on more than 2 seconds counted for an alliance.
@freerobux49 As I said Jerry tries to kill Prime literally 2 seconds after asking to "cooperate", he neither insisted nor gave Rick time to finish the phrase... if this was a serious proposal to collaborate to you. These Rick and Jerrys don't even know each other and the fact that they have no use for each other seems like a really bad reason to kill each other. Having said that, I respect your opinion (obviously), but I stand by mine.
@freerobux49 I've seen the episode dozens of times, what part shouldn't be clear to me? Prime asks Jerry if he has seen Rick and Morty, Jerry replies that if he is looking for them he would be willing to team up and then, without even waiting for Prime to finish speaking, he treacherously attacks him, but is Prime to kills Jerry at the end.
Rick Prime is honestly such an interesting character, I'd love to see so much more of him. Sure' he's fun to watch and interesting in his own right, but the metaphorical implications this character has on our Rick are SO cool

yeah, we haven't seen him, like, at all. aren't we also around 5 episodes in?, either he comes back when the portal gun is narratively reintroduced or he's just gone already, as the only reason we got a shot at him by now was cause it could be confirmed that he was in a specific dimension thanks to resetting all portal travellers which he couldn't live without. so unless they plan to open another galactic tear which cost millions of ricks and as much natural portal fluid i personally don't see any simple way they could possible find him by the end of this season, even montages can't flip through realities and ricks that fast...
I think Rick is gonna find Jerry's corpse, somehow download the contents of his last memories before he died - and then figure out a way to track Rick Prime down in S7
"managing people, such a headache" what I just realized in Rick's crybaby backstory, is that he probably was getting close to prime rick and those other Ricks he killed were part of prime Rick's group.
He wasn’t that close because one of the last sci fi ricks he kills had a cube showing multiples of other rick contacts that he destroys before being shot by c137 destroying his real trail to rick prime before average non related ricks join together because they see c137 as a unstoppable killer Rick who won’t stop.
I was thinking the same thing because some of the Ricks (mainly be on the sci-fi stylish ones) that our Rick kills were part of the Prime's group, as those Ricks LOOKS distinctive and outcast-ish that there's NO other Ricks are seen today in the show.
Eh, maybe a Rick Prime v. Evil Morty hour-long special or two/three/four-parter, but not a whole season. Even if they are two of the show's most engaging characters right now, I don't think they're engaging enough to carry an entire season by themselves.
0:03 HOLD ON!... That's the cylinder with the yellow lid and the naked Rick from Rick Prime's invisible space-station... and that Rick was dressing back up... So, that WAS Rick Prime inside the cylinder... and it landed back in Morty's original universe... where C-137 went to reconnect with Morty, thinking Rick Prime would be there.
I wonder if Rick Prime would've left Croneneberg Jerry live if he hadn't slit his throat, Rick seemed rather peaceful and neutral with him prior to that happening so OG Jerry's death possibly could've been avoided if he hadn't resolved to violence, although it's possible he would've still killed him after their little chit chat but we'll never know.
@@ekkehard8 He didn't know for sure he was going to die. All he did know is if he killed this Rick first, he wouldn't be able to ruin his life further like every other Rick has done. He probably just regrets failing to kill him.
most likely would have killed him just because, he was just talking because his gun was on the ground and need to buy a few moments and to gain information
I think it's interesting that this Rick has a noticably unique way of speaking; what I mean is using calming/condescending nicknames like little guy or buddy. Maybe he did that only with Jerry IDK
This Rick actually sees himself as above humanity; other humans are lesser, irrational, hunger/survival motivated beings. So he says “hey little guy” like talking to a chimp or something.
Rick Prime left his beth to go off into the infinite universes, which is also where he kills our Rick's wife and daughter. The concept he is referring to is the entire family unit that most ricks have. Jerry, Beth, Summer, Morty and Rick. Also since Rick Prime left beth while she was growing up he never met his own Morty which is the morty we have been followong every episode, which is why he calls him a little boy.
You know it occurs to me that if Rick really wanted to catch Rick Prime, he just has to reset portal travelers and go back right? Like set up a quick portal for Jerry ahead of time so he can get back to the main family, then Rick portals to Cronenburged Dimension (Dimension Prime?), picks up Morty, then he just portals to Rick Prime and attacks right? Alternatively, if he hadn't broken the dinosaurs portal pistol he could have shut down portal travel, reset travelers, then used the portal pistol to teleport himself to Rick Prime.
Yeah, another full-scale traveller reset would at least require some way to prevent the Beth and Summer from being sent back to Mr Frundles, who might actually be the entire universe now if he can propel himself through space.
If he did that summer and beth (plus space beth) would go back to the frundled dimension and get bitten instantly. Our rick now cares about his family, so i don't think he'll want to try something like that.
@@andorexurix2491 only difference is that Rick Prime literally have healing factor meaning that he actually achieved Immortality or close to it no any Ricks ever did that....

Beyond the finite curve were infinite universe were Rick WAS NOT the smartest being in their own respective universes, meaning infinite more universes of the smith family with varying degrees of a less smart Rick and other beings exist out there. But now, Evil Morty should be back in his original universe, whatever thar may be.
Evil Morty wasn't sent back to his dimension. The Central Finite Curve is still up, all Evil Morty did was open a temporary hole in it that he could escape through. The moment he escaped, he was no longer apart of the Rick and Morty multiverse. He's a part of an entirely different infinity, which means that anything happening in Rick and Morty now has no effect on Evil Morty and the 2nd infinity he's now a part of.
I mean he was badass though, even Rick Prime accepted that. It’s survival of the fittest in Jerry’s world and Rick most definitely would have some valuables on him that Jerry would need to survive so I don’t really judge Jerry for doing so.

The fact that this clip was put on TH-cam by Adult Swim's channel only now, rather than the week after the episode it's from first premiered, probably means that they are trying to build up hype for some Rick Prime fireworks in the last four episodes of Season 6.
Terrifying how Prime Rick call his original Jerry "A Jerry" and how he just straight up murders him. He is the exact opposite of C-137 who cares (or at least would have cared) for his family.

Kind of sad. Prime Morty abandoned his whole world and family after the Cronenberg incident and they all seemed fine with it. Morty really only bonded with the second family which was the 3rd for Rick 137.
Do Note how Smartly Jerry baited him out, I believe he just faked the team up part of things to get him to Monologue and eventually kill him… However, Jerry being Jerry didn’t realise who he was up against and that ended up getting him killed in the end
He doesn’t care about Jerry enough to let him hear the end of his sentence but he does respect him enough to kill him. Prime Rick would probably have ignored any other iteration of Jerry.
Like our Rick not being able to tolerate Morty correcting him on his “granted” usage, I suspect that Rick Prime couldn’t tolerate there being a competent, capable Jerry that ~technically~ posed a minuscule threat (if not for his Wolverine-esque regen sequence)
MArk of a truly *SMART* villain; Shoot them in the *middle* of your monologue. People always expect you to kill them at the *end* of it, not the middle.

Something that doesn’t get mentioned is how RP most likely wasn’t going to hurt Jerry. He compliments him and even tries to banter with him like a pal. That’s how you know this Jerry has truly changed; he lost every reason to embrace cowardice and lost everything. Prime Rick may have killed him in cold blood, mid sentence, but Jerry wasn’t fazed at all.

What an amazing way to introduce a villain. He does know what a Jerry but does not know about Morty which is interesting.

Rick Prime abandons his family> Beth meets Jerry > they make babies and then C-137 Rick takes over Rick Prime's life and then everyone but the Smith family gets cronenburged
Best character ever: he lost his world, his wife, his doughter, he was abandoned and he disowned his son. But when Rick Prime says to search for Morty, Jerry try to kill him just to protect his son.
@freerobux49 "noticeable pause" = 2 and half seconds, when Prime continue speacks. Ok bro
Rick Prime is honestly such an interesting character, I'd love to see so much more of him. Sure' he's fun to watch and interesting in his own right, but the metaphorical implications this character has on our Rick are SO cool
Rick Prime. I never realized how using the word prime emphasized his power over every rick, especially C137. Rick Prime, the only person possibly ever to CONSISTENTLY outsmart Rick C137 who was already stated to be the smartest man in the Universe, possibly Multiverses. Rick Prime is on another level
Anyone else have the feeling that C-137 Rick didn't create the Central Finite Curve to shut out every universe in which he wasn't the smartest man alive because he was afraid. But because he wanted to keep Prime Rick in, so he could more easily hunt him down?
very interesting theory!
This theory appeared even when the season 5 finale came out.

We see Jerry die three times in one episode.
We see Rick die thousands of times in citadel episodes.
The other two times must be
- Jerry C-131 (Season 2 Jerry) got infected by Mr. Frundles
- Jerry from the Parmesan Dimension "dying of natural causes"
Last season he died dozens of times.
That Rick complementing a Jerry is dangerous because you won't be alive to tell anyone.
Not just any Rick, the strongest Rick we've seen
The musical cue when rick prime appears is amazing
It's so subtle but kinda beautiful.
Wow, that's really subtle. Nice leitmotif
It’s possible that Rick Prime won’t be a big villain until the next season.
Yes.
yeah, we haven't seen him, like, at all. aren't we also around 5 episodes in?, either he comes back when the portal gun is narratively reintroduced or he's just gone already, as the only reason we got a shot at him by now was cause it could be confirmed that he was in a specific dimension thanks to resetting all portal travellers which he couldn't live without. so unless they plan to open another galactic tear which cost millions of ricks and as much natural portal fluid i personally don't see any simple way they could possible find him by the end of this season, even montages can't flip through realities and ricks that fast...
And then they'll resolve his whole arc in one underwhelming episode.
I guess we have wait 2 more seasons, like for evil morty.
Probably. The writers are already writing season 7.
I think Rick is gonna find Jerry's corpse, somehow download the contents of his last memories before he died - and then figure out a way to track Rick Prime down in S7

"I don't really team up anymore"
He talks about the dude with a portal in the leg that Morty teamed up for a bit before fighting it
I like how he seems to be the same and way different than c 137 rick. Obviously he is but they did a great job conveying that feeling too.
"managing people, such a headache"
what I just realized in Rick's crybaby backstory, is that he probably was getting close to prime rick and those other Ricks he killed were part of prime Rick's group.
I want an Evil Morty vs Rick Prime Season!

Eh, maybe a Rick Prime v. Evil Morty hour-long special or two/three/four-parter, but not a whole season. Even if they are two of the show's most engaging characters right now, I don't think they're engaging enough to carry an entire season by themselves.
A reminder that chronenberged jerry is jerry prime
Imagine if it just ended with this Jerry ending Rick Prime right then and there. That whole plot just wrapped up by a Jerry.
That sounds like something they would do. Remember Worldender?
I wonder how often Prime Rick even thinks about his Morty. Is he even aware Jerry is his son in law?
Maybe, but Cronenberg Jerry has no reason to be cordial with a Rick considering what happened to his world and family.

nah, cronenjerry knows that a different beth just wouldn't be the same, and was content with living alone
This Jerry was too cool to be left alive. The writers could not allow him to live.
Sadly.
They did the same thing in Attack On Titan sadly. One character was just too badass so they had to kill him off
0:29 he really regret saying that. If he dont have regeneration, he would be dead
0:11 What is the concept Rick is talking about, what do you think?
Rick Prime left his beth to go off into the infinite universes, which is also where he kills our Rick's wife and daughter. The concept he is referring to is the entire family unit that most ricks have. Jerry, Beth, Summer, Morty and Rick. Also since Rick Prime left beth while she was growing up he never met his own Morty which is the morty we have been followong every episode, which is why he calls him a little boy.
Family. A concept of Family. He don't care about it which unlike Rick C137.
He is talking about jerry becoming badass
It's dumb because he then instantly comments on how Jerry arc'ed out, implying he is aware of "the concept"
Btw this wasn’t just any Jerry he was killing, it was his own dimension’s.
"Whoa whoa whoa little guy easy"
Man way to make a dude feel small and insignificant.
Yeh they kind of solved that problem both Beth’s and summer come from a reality where there planet is f**coed now
Yeah, another full-scale traveller reset would at least require some way to prevent the Beth and Summer from being sent back to Mr Frundles, who might actually be the entire universe now if he can propel himself through space.
If he did that summer and beth (plus space beth) would go back to the frundled dimension and get bitten instantly.
Our rick now cares about his family, so i don't think he'll want to try something like that.
Wouldn’t he be “Jerry Prime” and this dimension is “Prime Dimension”?
I love how Jerry still have the balls to ask "Why are you here?" after being shot in the stomach. I wish he was still alive.
Cronenberg Jerry had a lot of potential. It's a shame he was killed off.

@@duston8443 Well I was talking about Rick Prime.
@@pancakes8670 There's no maybe, it's certain.
Writers have already conformed it AND in case you hadn't noticed, Evil Morty is subject to that portal event that forced all Ricks, Mortys, Jerrys and anyone else back to their original universes. Escaping the finite curve was not him escaping the Rick and Morty multiverse. Just him leaving that specific part.
I mean Jerry started it. Rick Prime didn‘t seem like he was going to kill or hurt him.

Terrifying how Prime Rick call his original Jerry "A Jerry" and how he just straight up murders him. He is the exact opposite of C-137 who cares (or at least would have cared) for his family.
I always wonder about the combination of the most dangerous members of the Sanchez family.

Kind of sad. Prime Morty abandoned his whole world and family after the Cronenberg incident and they all seemed fine with it. Morty really only bonded with the second family which was the 3rd for Rick 137.
Do Note how Smartly Jerry baited him out, I believe he just faked the team up part of things to get him to Monologue and eventually kill him…

Something that doesn’t get mentioned is how RP most likely wasn’t going to hurt Jerry. He compliments him and even tries to banter with him like a pal. It’s all Ricks’ toxicity that causes Jerry to try and kill him. So Jerry’s reasons for doing so aren’t really important.
What we should take from this is that RP doesn’t seem to go looking for trouble. He only kills Jerry after he tried to kill him first.
That’s what makes Rick and Morty antagonists unique. They’re not motivated by usually villain motives. RP truly is the Rickest Rick.
We don't really know he wasn't going to hurt Jerry, he never really got to that point since Jerry attacked first.
